I was invited by 1 of the producers to attend a recording of an episode. After, a few of us were escorted onto the sets. I "DID" get to sit in Sheldon's spot. We aslo got to go backstage and fed pizza & beer/sodas. I will always love the picture of me sitting on that couch.

I was and still am a lot like this, since about Junior high, we had assigned seats and i sat in my assigned seat each day without issue but every so often, the teacher would tell us to sit other places or change up the seating chart or didn't care if someone didn't sit in their assigned seat and it bugged me to now end. If It was a change of seating chart, that was fine but if it was free seating and someone decided to sit in my spot I would be just like this, telling them continuously that it's my spot until they moved. My other classmates even eventually caught on to this as sometimes, they'd say, "We can't go there, it's their seat". Give me all the hate comments you want, certain people don't know what it feels like to have a specific routine and location of things every day and then have it ripped away or messed up. I've calmed down but it stilll bugs me when someone sits in a spot that they know i always sit in.

I have never watched this show. I barely know a thing about it, however I was once told I was like Sheldon in that I also have my spot on the couch. Funnily enough, it is almost the exact same, and for similar reasons. The arm of the couch provides wonderful support and insulation, the Cormier between the arm and back make for a rather pleasant seat for the side of your back, and it also has a good view of the tv, so long as you shift 90° to the right, or 45° to remain both entertained and social.
