I’m assuming this was September- I went to frampton on the 2nd while I was walking to the reserve a semipalmated was reported and I, and a few others, just managed it briefly in the morning before it seemed to have disappeared until the late afternoon, later I would get the white rumped sandpiper and the lesser yellowlegs and while I waiting to try and see the black stork at the lesser yellowleg location a buff breasted sandpiper was sighted about 70 meters away from us- we all got to the location and got amazing views of the buff breasted sandpiper feeding about 10 meters away from the group- my profile pic is the pic I managed to snap in the fading light but still turned out decently- managed to get 4 lifers that day. Edit- would of had the black stork if I decided to go to the sea wall straight away but I would of missed the white rumped and semi if I had done so- the black stork was one that you had to try and get earlier on if you didn’t want an extremely distant view off.
