Can anyone explain why it was crystal clear (in 1966) that we had to export … but in 2022 the word is rarely heard ?
@andrewheale4738
@andrewheale4738 Год назад
Because we don't have any industry to export. Sadly.

Ironic. The year that Toyota and other Japanese cars started to sweep British cars off the road overseas. By 1970 it was all over in Canada.

Did these Narrators have to perfect that affliction or is there a district of England where it came naturally ? Customers of Bournemouth Cinemas could still appreciate perhaps that actual guys’ narration with an outdated advert that seemed to run up until 1980 when he’d implore us to “ come visit the Yeovil Sheepskin Shop - it’s well worth the visit “ ..( about a 40 mile drive ) 😃

Fast forward 2023, all we do now is produce foreign cars, how did it ever slip away from Britain when British cars were exported all around the world. Countries like, Spain, Italy, Germany, France & Sweden all still have a car manufacturing base, what does the U.K. have ... you know the answer, sad, sad, sad.
