Something I have always had my eye on and finally decided to pick up. Seem to be plenty available through many sources (Amazon, E-Bay, All Watch E-retailer sites) with a wide range on prices.
I just walked into Macy's yesterday and picked up the blue trimmed Big Daddy watch. I love the look and size and weight of the watch. My band however is not links like your watch you profiled. My band is a blue, cloth like/polyester (?) type material with a smooth, black silicone "inside" which is what lays flat on my wrist. Like you, I have been a watch guy since the 1990s, when Fossil watches sold for $30/each and having a Bill Blass and/or Gucci watch was a status symbol back in the day. Comparing the sizes of those 90s watches, to what's on the market today, is quite amusing due to how small and thin the watches of yesteryear were made, lol...almost feminine like (but nice and expensive). Lastly, my GO TO watch of preference, over the past 20 years, has been the G-Shock watch. I dig the bulky, hella durability of these watches and on a side note, I work in the department of corrections and my G-shock watch has served me well as a pseudo "weapon", when inmates need to get a facial massage due to their aggressive behaviors toward me or my fellow officers. What is the crystal made of. My only experience with this watch is a poor fake I unknowingly bought off ebay. I'm now looking for a good deal on a real one. Red or blue.
