You have so many more surprises ahead with Ren. This band The Big Push is the modern day Beatles, they are that good. Try Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard for more busking, War Pigs if you want to go hard core. If you want something more scaled back from these guys try Praise You and Bongo Bong, both are short videos. Ren also has some great busking videos with Sam Tompkins, who is a great singer himself, I recommend Earned It/Man's World/Falling, it's falsetto heaven. Also, don't wait long for Chalk Outlines with Chinchilla. You could go with your listen to the lyrics only first if you promise to then watch the video, but it has to be the live version. How are you about rapping because Ren is a world class rapper, from pen to flow to whatever else makes a great rapper. Don't ask me, Ren is about the only rapped I have listened much too and I love it, from fun ones like Losing It and What You Want to harder core like Murderer, do the live version. You will find that going with the live version is always a great choice with Ren. I'll stop for now, but the amount of work this man has put out is amazing and it's all great.

The other guitarist is Romain Axisa and he's got his own music as well. "Goodbye Good Days" is an amazing artistic track, and he has a great busking video doing "Georgia on my Mind"

Loved your reaction! You are right, he has so much soul in his voice, shown in many of his songs but the Jamaican vibe brought with this song shows his and the band's reggae/ska influence.

Can’t beat live music - so much talent! Ren is so versatile. Love his stuff! He has a lot of great material.

I've known Brighton since the early 1970s, and have lived there twice, or near it. But I haven't been since the 1990s. It's always had a big musical scene and culture thing, both formal concerts, and street music. I saw Don Mclean performing at the Brighton Dome in the mid-1970s, as part of the Brighton Culture Festival. I'd have really liked to have seen Ren and The Big Push. I've seen some amazing street performances. Brighton was the first place I ever saw skateboarding, maybe the early 1970s.

Ren has many more surprises in store for you. The Big Push have easily a dozen great videos alone. Bongo Bong and Praise You are a couple of other great covers. Sweet Little Lady - both the official and live versions - is also a great song.

From my understanding, they have a very big busking scene there, much like the French Quarter of New Orleans. Dedicated areas to live performances that are normally full of people. Ren has talked about it a bit in interviews and how much he loves street performances. Saying the people who stop to listen to you are intrigued and are under no obligation or expectation to stay. They are there because they like what they hear.

The band would put it out on socials that they would be playing somewhere at a certain time. They did a nationwide tour doing that. On other vids you'll see maybe Ren and someone else, plus wheelbarrow to carrry the gear around.

Another great reaction. "The Big Push" busking sessions, concerts, and live recordings all are amazing and well worth checking out. The members of "The Big Push" are all independent solo artists who struck up a friendship, moved in together, and formed the band. Ren Gill, Gorran Kendall, and Romain Axisa take turns singing lead vocals at times, except for the drummer Glen Chambers. However, each of the band members is currently focusing on a solo career due to Ren's absence. Their original songs "Oh My Woman," “Swan Song,” “Sweet Little Lady," "It's Alright," “Dignity,” “Watch Out” and so many others are equally impressive. Gorran Kendall is a singer/songwriter/busker from the UK. He plays the bass, electric and acoustic guitar, the harmonica, and frequently sings lead for "The Big Push." As a solo artist, he is a folk singer, and his music is reminiscent of 60s folk. I love Gorran's music. In addition, Romain sings lead on a few "The Big Push" songs. His solo music is unique, and I don't know what genre it would be categorized as. I really enjoy his music as well. Glad you got around to reacting to "The Big Push" Their collective and individual street performances are Epic and can go from a street full of people all the way down to a couple of people and a dog. As far as what to react too next from their extensive catalogue? I can see you already had a bunch of demands telling you you have to do this or do that next! Honestly....i've already sussed that you'll do whatever you feel drawn to reacting too. But having said that i'd definitely recommend you checkout some of their original material as it well worthy of a reaction or two. But the reaction i'd most like you to do is their Ridiculously cool Rooftop rendition of "Bongo Bong" by a French-Spanish singer Manu Chao. I think you'll love that!
