I think you're dead on the nose about the energy. Everything is made of energy, everything! I think Ren and these guys in the Big Push embody a similar higher frequency that just radiates that exciting, creative and positive energy that we just want to soak up. I never grow tired of watching them.

That is definitely Ren on the high notes. He is usually the one that does all the high notes in their music. Ren's new drop is today called "troubles". He has been showing " chapters" to his life leading up to this song to likely get the context of the new drop. Chapters 1-8, number 8 is today leading into the drop time. It goes into his 8 yrs of a total nightmare that he never woke up from.

This is one of my many favorites of theirs. I love that they all are featured on this and the musicianship really shines. They did comment recently on the live premier of one of their videos (Heart Attack) that there is quite a lot of still unreleased material they may put out. It just makes me smile to know they are still friends and talk frequently.

Yay .of all the fantastic songs they do, this is my favorite. It just speaks deep to my rock roll soul. Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix and Muddy Waters. Sweet, sweet rock n roll. I'm so glad you loved it. I'm a whole generation older than you, but this would pull me out on the dance floor like no other. ❤

Rock'n'Roll music is the foundations of my musical appreciation. I haven't really listened to The Stones in a few years, but a combination of TBP and the good weather has made me stick some on. Might have had a little dance too!

I love the homage to Voodoo Chile by Jimi Hendrix and Champagne & Reefer by Muddy Waters, though knowing Gorran's liking of The Rolling Stones it is probably more a nod to their cover version.

Probably is. There's a great version of it with Buddy Guy and The Stones from the concert film; Shine A Light. Buddy Guy's voice is something else.
