Great Event!!! These police dogs are there to be proper public safety offers and not to control bikers. Didn‘t even care to block out the traffic on the road for a safe ride. Ridiculous. For such an event I expect nothing more or less than a handful motorcycled police that steer the trafic, stop it at crossings and let the collective group pass in one flow, then re-open the streets for trafic, on the fly. One-behind, one in front, 1-3 moving about managing the traffic. That is what I experience on Lisbon‘s Gentlemen Rides, it‘s like a sight-seeing tour across the whole city, with hundreds of bikers. Motorcycle Professionals, these are. Asking them if they have to do it every weekend? They laugh, „no, actually we have 2 more sessions today“ and laughs, „and tomorrow, all week along these escorts happen, bigger, smaller, a Bus, Government officials & visitors, …“.

Great effort all on a safe ride. With so many people. And awesome job on smashing the $50,000. Untill next year. Keep two wheels down.

Group rides are fun but they can be stressful. I can't imagine being the organizer of a big ride like this. Big tip of the hat to Danny and other organizers. I like the "checking out the bikes and chatting with everyone" part better than the ride part. I like to ride alone or with one or two friends.
