Maintained my interest all the way through. Loved the on location shots, the outfits and the way the movie went back and forth to San Fran and L.A. I always knew where Harry was and never got the story mixed up. Great writing and pacing,

Much enjoyed this 1953 movie. (The Bigamist) Ida Lupino directed and was one of the wives in the movie. She was excellent as were all the other actors. The adoption investigator was a great fit for the part. This movie held my attention to the end, due to it being so unusual and different. The budget for the movie was only $50,000.00. and the acting and the story were excellent! Anthony Joseph Lucchese

Did he just call the adoption agent as Santa Clause? 5:20
@chrisw1444
@chrisw1444 2 месяца назад
He did! And that’s because the adoption agent (Edmund Gwenn) played Santa in Miracle on 34th st.(1947). The tour bus driver also mentions this as they’re driving by celebrities homes in Beverly Hills.

I was done with him in scene 1 when they were talking to the adoption agent. I couldn’t even feel bad for his character cuz he came off so badly. Where he’s supposed to have constant anxiety/worry, he seems annoyed and inconvenienced. I would’ve told them no just by his attitude 😂

Having a hobit of marrying more than one is nothing but petty mistakes, we shouldn't try it as our culture doesn't accept it, but when in comes to WE😁...👍

I never found him the least bit attractive, either. The most 'average' looking actor in the history of film. Maybe that's what led him to be cast in these 'Everyman' roles.

Thanks again for the movie. There's will come a time when women will be satisfied with sharing a man. In statistics it will be 50:1 and by the way we're somewhere between errrrmmm..... single digit : 01.
