If you’re someone who actually does this, can’t imagine ever finding these videos boring! I used to do this but I once got 500£ worth of 50 ps and only found a couple of collectors! So I stopped

I had the Kew Gardens a couple of years back and didn't know it was rare, I used it to buy a coffee at work because it was all I had on me and was gagging for a drink. C'est la vie, never got another since.

I’ve never watched anything to do with coins before, but I do like seeing ones with different designs (I work in a shop) so when your video popped up in my feed I thought I’d have a look. I really enjoyed it and it was oddly very relaxing, to the point that I had no idea it was 1 hour long! I didn’t realise until about 50 mins in and those 50 mins only felt like 10. Really enjoyed it and now I’ll be checking every 50p when I’m at work 😂

WOWZERS Christopher that was a marathon hunt. But so worth it. My favourites are Suffragettes, Isaac Newton, Modern Pentathlon and The Queens Memorial coin. - She was so special. First bag, first coin an Olympic. You knew it was going to be a memorable one. Well done in the finds and your determination. xxJane 💰

Amazing Video Christopher. Only 5 non Olympic Commemoratives missed (suffragettes, Kew, WWF, Jemima, and Flopsy). The Olympics and Territory coins are fantastic. Agree with you that Isaac Newton is my favourite 50p. Loved the truly eccentric clothing and headgear choices!! Well done!!

Crumpets! That was one BIG hunt. I watched all the way through and memories of the live stream came flooding back. Thank you for dedicating so much of your time in entertaining us all while searching for that illusive Kew Gardens. Alas, it wasn’t to be…not for the want if trying though. Loved the yellow shirt/jacket, it immediate made me think of the Beatles Sgt Peppers album cover (don’t know why) Thanks again Christopher. 👌🙂

Hey C-squared. Here's an idea to mix up your hunts a wee bit. For the next set of books, both 50p and £2, how about the following. 50p - prepare the book with all the goofy looking tabs 😂 and excluding the Kew gardens pick the rarest five Olympics e.g. football, tennis etc. Same applies for the other commemorative coins, say puddleduck, Newton and three others. Only when you have found and inserted those ten coins can you go ahead with the rest. Maybe some variation thereof. For the £2 coins apply the same. Prepare the book and then you can only insert coins once you've found the four commonwealth games and the next four rarest common coins. Something to consider. Cheers

I hope you put your doublers back into circulation for other collectors. I have a small coin collection I've gathered over the last couple of years that have appeared in my change. Remember each time a coin is collected leaves one less for everyone else and we don't all have two and a half grand to vacuum up specimens.

Hi Christopher, fantastic coin hunt! I have yet to find a king Charles 50pence coin in my change! I've never seen the coin yet,have they only been circulated in certain areas of the UK? I wanted to ask is it a rare coin your looking for to complete your set ( Kew Garden) if so what date is it your needing. I wonder what the spread of found commemoratives will be at the end, compared to mintage figures and age. It will give collectors an idea of what percentage of commemoratives are still in circulation..
