So for me I’d say that the .950 is a more massive round compared to the 4bore. But it’s not larger as it is a smaller caliber diameter. The joys of semantics.

Except when people talk about what bullet is bigger they're referring to the caliber, not the grain weight. While grenadier does have a LOS to target. Mortars, artillery, and Rockets use panoramic telescope to sight in azimuth and elevation of tube for firing. Grenade launchers use conventional sights adjusted for arced firing due to grenade low muzzle velocity .
