*For the people that are criticising our style of play in this match.* This was probabaly the best Barcelona side in history and they were the champions league holders. We had a 1-0 lead and all we needed to do was defend and get that crucial away goal(which we did). Also, we were down to 10 men and Messi scored like 74 goals that season so I'm happy we played that way. People need to realise that there are many ways to play football. Do you expect us to press high and attack against a side of this quality?

There is nothing wrong with it. Due to love for Tiki Taka style football the masculinity in the game has died. I remember watching Maradona getting kicked by Bilbao players and later by Milan and Juve players. Messi wont be able to take that kind of tackling, he would be in hospital like Brazilian Ronaldo. Barca failed in this game and Chelsea won with their tactics. Then Barca players, media, and fans started their PR campaign of how Chelsea killed the football game with their negative tactics. Even though I don't support either of these teams, Chelsea won fair and square. Barca fans should learn to accept defeats, football is cyclical and other teams will bash them in their home in the future.

A lone voice of reason. No one analysed John obi Mikel's role here. He effectively blocked off the penalty circle for Messi's runs into the box so Barcelona had to resort to ineffective crosses from the wings. Also Suarez over acting and getting Terry sent off changed Chelsea's tactics. I challenge anyone to impose themselves on Barcelona when a player down. Well analysed. If a team is that much better than the opposition they should win no matter what, like Liverpool should have beaten Wimbledon in the FA cup final. Games are won on the field and with goals, not statistics

Enjoyed this to bits... Regardless of how defensively organised Chelsea was (which made it an interesting game) destiny was on their side. They worked hard for their luck. Down to 10men, Barca missing a pen and the biggest 'luck' of the night was Torres losing the ball but somehow decided to sprint towards goal anyway and 'accidentally' receives the ball as he bares down on goal to equalise n eliminate Barca. Most entertaining 'one sided' game ever that had goals...

Actualy chelsea learn from morinho tactics that time he was managing real madrid and ask him how to beat barca with all ball posesion with great deep defending and play long ball and great counter attack. Im a die hard core chelsea fans, this is the best park bus ever, did u know this chelsea team had so many older player and i expect that year chelsea not gonna be in the semi or final, but they managed to parking the bus with barca and bayern, all the goal was fucking thrill coz last minute goals, torres and the drogba header with bayern, somehow ramires can score a very unexpected goal that time, i had a very mixed emotion, happy sad and so on, it hard for us to get ucl trophy for that year but we won it, we changed manager for last minute, older player, defend like fuck even messi shoot on the post last minute goal , what the fuckkkkk, when i watch the highlight it really touch my heart

We won the game with 10 men, chelsea is known fpr defensive game and we are good on it. We had morinho, conte and di matteo who won us 4 premier league and a champions league title. Over all if you even saw our game against bayern, you can tell how good the tactic amd the players are. Robben and messi missed penality. In contrast Drogba completed his legendary task and became unforgettable ever.

Chelsea did not defend well in this match, but they were very lucky. Barcelona created many goal opportunities and should have scored 5-6 goals at least. Conte bus at Stamford Bridge was much much better, Barcelona could create a goal only because of Christensen mistake

Almat Orazbayev Guardiola's Barcelona is way different and superior to the Barcelona that came after it. Barcelona no longer play positional football with triangles like they used to under Pep. They do not press intensely and effectively as a unit as they did under Pep too. If Pep's Barcelona was to play Conte's Chelsea at the Bridge, Pep's Barca would win (assuming they do not waste the chances they create like in this video)

It's usually coached by the manager during the game. But professional players have 20+ years of experience playing. So it's not that hard for them to change something during the game
