I'm in Ireland and thinking about getting one - beautiful animals and so easy to live with I hear - but not at the moment I have a huge German Shepherd who I took in 6 months ago - she's an old girl around 12 years - her owner passed away last year and she was due to be put to sleep as no-one would take her - I met her the day she was due to go to the vet and fell in love with her - so I'll let her live out her days without having to adjust to another dog - she has trouble sharing the house with my cat lol...! The Wolfhound in the video is a fine example - and a TV star too - I hope he has a long and lovely life with this lovely woman.....!
Interesting .. It's a shame it wasn't a real RUN ... The ancestors of these magnificent dogs would've been large and powerful but also able to run to chase their prey. The Great Dane after Wild Boar, deer, & even bear. The Irish Wolf Hound of'course hunted the wolf ... amazing to think what the ancestors looked like 🤔 ? ... 🐕
