Dude , i'm from argentina, the final should be played in argentina .. that final in spain was heartless .. no passion .. it never felt like the true final .. certanly was an importat Match .. but after the cancel of the Match because of the incidents , the passion was gone .. thats how it felt .. so no, it wasnt the greatest finale cause there where no passion ..

Im from argentina, I live in buenos aires. Im a River fan... it was amazing. I just cant put it in words. It was wonderful. And this documentary is excellent. Im happy that people from other cultures can experience the match with the intesity that we did. And yeah, the passion levels in our football is really really high.

Kind of, but when it comes to actual reasons behind the rivalry those are magnitude larger for el clasico. From Francoist dictatorship to killing catalonians, banning their language, abolishing their self government. Boca juniors and River plate is still mostly about football, el clasico is something quite a bit more. Real Madrid represents the Spanish king, FC Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia.

Other cities may think they have a derby, but compared to Boca Juniors - River, nah... Their little derbies, that's childplay. The Bs. As. one? That's on another plane. It's too bad they can't have away fans anymore-those videos you see with half the stadium in red fog, shirts, banderas; the other half equally, covered in yellow & blue fog, bloody carnage, flares going off, people climbing on fences... it's something to behold. That is some powerful spectacle, like a power keg.

I'm Scottish and married to an Argentinian woman and have kids.. I been to Boca vs River and I laugh when Celtic and Rangers fans claim they have biggest/most passionate /best atmosphere Derby.. Celtic vs Rangers doesn't come close.. The atmosphere blew my mind.

@@maurizio944 my friend is a huge Boca fan and also has contacts inside la bombonera, he got me a ticket for the copa libertadores match in May 2015..the game that got abandoned at half time after the river players had acid thrown in their faces. I've been to a few matches over there and the atmosphere is always great. I was at a San Lorenzo vs club racing which also had an amazing atmosphere. Argentine fans are the most passionate supporters in the world imo.

Im from Australia. Ever since RU-vid was created back in 2005 I was able to watch súper clásico uploads, i connected with Argentines and eventually lived my dream in 2008, where I travelled to Argentina and went to river Boca in el monumental with La Doce! While it was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had, I would never watch a game with La Doce again, the sheer danger I was in had me almost in tears, the hooligans will literally beat you up if a group of people aren’t chanting and singing like they’re suppose to.. I saw it with my own eyes. I literally rubbed shoulders with the most dangerous people in Argentina if not South America. Im a school teacher now and I tell the story of that day to my students !

Beyond the rivalry, both clubs have insane support at all times. I've never forgotten that BBC documentary Gary Lineker did, Diego Maradona taking him to a Boca Juniors game and exploding at every chance they missed. The funniest thing is that many barrabrava leaders, the violent sort that are almost always the cause of disasters like these, did have the money to go there, because they are some of the most corrupt people in the country. And the normal people couldn't go. Fortunately, many were stopped at the airport and some deported from Spain. Others found their way travelling from Argentina to Brazil, from there to Portugal, and then crossing to Spain.

Hay una sola barra en este país, por otro lado los de Boca son gente que se saca fotos con cualquiera y no pasa nada. Obviamente está bien que se allane a la barra, a cualquier barra. Lo que tuvo intencionalidad política es que justo lo hagan la noche anterior al partido, era obvio que alguien buscó que se pudriera porque sabían que la barra iba a reaccionar. Igual yo estuve ahí a dos metros, me gaseó la policía, y vi gente común mayormente, no sólo barras.

As a football fan, I always hear that the Super Classico is the biggest game in football history. After watching this video, I felt the passion of it, even though I'm no River of Boca fan. But seeing how passionate the fans were, it made me realize why this game is the biggest game in football. The Bombonera scenes were proof of that. It's a shame that we could never witness a similar scene in Monumental. I really felt how Diego (the cab driver) feels. It was supposed to be a historical match for him and he was ready to be part of history, but then it will never happen for him or others like him. It was anti-climatic in the end, but this was the BEST DERBY DAYS VIDEO that Copa90 has ever made so far.

I respect both clubs. In fact, 2 of my most favorite Argentinian Players, Aimar and Riquelme comes from each teams. So, again, just to emphasize what I mean: It's a shame that we didn't get to see that passionate scene from this derby that happened in Bombonera happen in Monumental cuz the game was cancelled. Truly amazing documentary. Just like this game was the pinnacle of the South American football, this film is the pinnacle of all Derby Days. Easily the best video on the Copa90 channel. Eli, I wanted to congratulate you and all of your team, for the work you have done on this one. 55 minutes flew just like that. Made because of the passion you have for the beautiful game. Not biased at all. And the ending? Perfect, just perfect, straight to the point. I am lost for words. There wasn't an actual winner here. The real winner was hatred. This should be a tie to savour, once in a lifetime experience. La Bombonera and Estadio Monumental, not La Bombonera and Santiago Bernabeu. The decision to play the second leg in Spain was ridiculous and completely ruined the whole experience for me. An exceptional event that turned into an ignominous affair.

I came back to this documentary four years after originally watching it. I’ve got to say it is some of the best football journalism I have ever seen, still. Kudos to the entire team, for research and interviews - to presentation - to the amazing editing that tied it all together. I learned the history, felt the excitement, and then felt the anguish in this documentary

By far the best documentary I've ever watched in my life...it left a bit of a sour taste in the sense that they didn't film the end in madrid, but such is the emotion and quality of this documentary that it still classifies and the best ever❤🙌🔥😭

As an Argentinian, the ending is right, the atmosphere was gone, the taxi driver was right, the feeling of "the game of the century" was gone. Then the next year when we faced again in Semis, the atmosphere against wasn´t as strong.

I'm from Germany and I don't give much about the Ultras bouncing and singing. Okay, it gives a nice atmosphere. Sometimes even this bothers me because it always the same, no matter what happens on the pitch. 3:0 up or 0:3 down. The Ultras are celebrating _(themselves?)_ during the whole game. It sometimes even looks like they miss a goal. They definitely miss many chances, since they are busy celebrating themselves... I, for myself, like to actually watch the match! With all it's ups and downs. Today I even prefer to sit in the stadium.

In 2008 I went to Argentina just to see the football, through watching RU-vid videos of San Lorenzo in 2006/07, they became my team .. I met locals from RU-vid that took me to the games when I went there!! It was the experience of my life and now I’m only a San Lorenzo fan and nothing else

Argentina is passion. I'm really sad that the second leg had to be played on Spain. I was born in Mexico, my mother is from Uruguay and my father from Brazil, I have been in stadiums from all those countries, but man, nothing, absolutely NOTHING compares to an Argentinian stadium. Disgrace that CARP fans threw rocks through the windows of the Boca bus. Then again, why go in with bells and whistles? Get 8 blacked out taxis and drive the players in from the side. Not like it's a long drive and they need the full bus facilities.

The game was already in disgrace and disrepute by the time the first time the second leg was postponed/cancelled. The reality is that these games still involve violence despite no matter how much regulation and history of deaths surrounding the game. They could have moved the game to Doha to appease the Qatari sponsors of the competition. Instead they respected the fact that Spain has a huge Argentine contingent. I went to the game, and I've been to the Bernabeu before for a champions league game. The atmosphere was nothing like I had seen before in European football.

Yes, Boca vs River is probably the greatest derby in the world. This should've been the greatest final ever. But CONMEBOL managed to make this great game into the biggest embarrassment in the history of south american football. Playing the game in Madrid was against everything the name LIBERTADORES stands for, is literally handing over our greatest final ever to our colonizers. Absolutely disgraceful. Great video btw.

I mean Barca vs real madrid draws in 500 million viewers worldwide it used to back in 2010- 2018 but the culture and overall events leading up to the match in regards to boca vs river is unreal and unmatched coca cola changing there colors just to sell things is nuts though in 2015 barca did beat river plate and boca juniors

Es simple, riber tenia que ganar contra belgrano y no lo gano. Boca tambien, la diferencia es que boca juega una final por una copa y riber para mantener la categoria. Fue muy importante esa final pero ya esta perdimos una copa. Ustedes tienen esa mancha tan grande que nunca se la van a borrar.

Hands down the best derby ever. And all those 'game postponed' twists spiced up things even more. I can feel their emotions. Before Copa final 2021 Argentina vs Brazil, I couldn't sleep. It was hard even to watch live on TV. I can only imagine how it would feel to be in stadium, putting everything in line. Barca 🔴🔵 and Argentina fan 🇦🇷🇦🇷 from Nepal 🇳🇵

I’ve been to an “Old firm” match Rangers v Celtic this just blows it out of the water, this is astonishing. To the makers of this documentary I salute you this is a top drawer production. I’m 50 next year & I’ve just gotta do it, I gotta make the trip to Argentina & be a part of this & screw the cost, a “one for the bucket list” trip. What they have in Argentina in the “Superclassico” is something unique & VERY special.

This was the final of the copa libertadores...you can hardly compare a regular season old firm game to this.i think you would see the same outpourings of passion iin celtic v rangers in a European final celtic and rangers have never met in Europe so it would be a huge occasion too. The fact that the old firm play at least 4 times a season perhaps doesn't help on the passion stakes.

The weeks before the game is hectic and the passion and unfortunately the violence that comes with this game is second to none. I’m not saying it bigger than Boca Riber but it’s certainly up there! 🍀😊
