You mentioned your booth...I didn't think you had it any longer because you never show us when you stock it like you used to. I'm glad to hear you do indeed have it. Even if you don't have time to show us...have whoever stocks it now show us; that was always so fun to watch and see what sold and what was added.
That’s AMAZING!!! The GW’s near me are TINY, but I live in a beach community, so I find bougie brand name stuff for pretty cheap every time I go. Found a pair of brand new with tag jeans in my size for $4.99. Original price? $175!!!!!
At about 17 mins, when you’re looking at the planters, there’s a Blenko Joel Myers cube bookend on the shelf (behind where you set the cowboy planter down).
My mom had a set of 8 of the pink plastic cups with the brown wicker that you picked up. Her cups were multicolor and were only coffee cups. This would have been in the early 60s.
The Raffiaware is heavy-duty currency in the vintage travel trailer world! People decorate their vintage travel trailers with them at trailer rallies and actually use the cups.
My son attends Penn State and I love visiting him just to go to this Goodwill and the St Vincent store up the street. Was just at both last Saturday and did very well. 😊
The Raffia drinking glasses are definitely vintage. I would have purchased them from you. Love them. Amazed at the very low prices at these Goodwill stores. Ours are double the price
I do believe that all of the Goodwills in Southern California could fit into that Goodwill mega store. LoL what a fun place to explore. I love the Pyrex refrigerator box and the matching bowl. I have the green bowl with white daisies that would match them. Great video!
What a nice looking store! Last time i went to Goodwill nearest me many shelves were empty. I asked why because when I dropped off my donation, I could see LOTS of stuff to put out in the store. They said they are short staffed.
Smart way of attaching the price stickers. More difficult to peel of or switch out and it does not cover the mark. Hope it does not cover any chips or cracks now. 😅
My mom used to have a similar crow metal art. It balanced on a matchy metal pole and just bobbed in the wind in the yard. And her last name was Harcrow. Good memories! ❤
Liked the cambridge glass v&o bottle rosalie I've bought plain one's for the purpose of using the stoppers for good etched one's so you will end up with a stopper eventually.
That’s my local Goodwill! We have a lot of resellers in the area, so it can be very hit-and-miss! But, I usually manage to find a few treasures! Would have loved to have run into you there!
Those shelves were so long and full! Ours are all so short! Heaven help us around here in Charlotte NC if you try to take something out of a new cart! You’ve committed a federal crime! Once I did ask the fella putting things out to please put this certain thing on the shelf so I could get it. He was nice and did and just as I was putting my hand on it another lady grabbed it out from under my hand! He even told her that he put it out for me and that was rude. She flat out said “I don’t care”! I just responded loud enough for her and others to hear “I have more class in my little finger than to argue or steal out from underneath someone’s hand for a $3.00 item!” Everyone stared at her!
the crescent shaped dish said porthmadog pottery which is in Wales I remember visiting there as a child about 40 years ago on holiday , I t looks like its closed down now so it will definitely be vintage , you could make or paint a pot yourself too , I painted an absolutely hideous multicoloured plate that my mum had to keep for years! I think it eventually got relegated to being a saucer under a houseplant so you couldn't see it too much! PS the metal curved thing is a bookmark , the decorative bit hangs down the spine.
Oh the things you do for us viewers!! Lol! I can walk into a dark warehouse packed with random boxes of junk and have no issue digging through them all. Something about the well stocked, well organized Goodwill, that gave me anxiety. I know, I don’t understand it either! Lol!
I was at a GW, I hear something large crash to the ground, ( by the grace of God there go I 😊) and then another loud crash and another! I have to go see what is going on! There was 2 large ceramic lamps and something else all over the floor, and a woman furiously digging in a fresh cart. I could not believe it, everyone was just standing around stunned at her behavior. She just walked away.
Blue and white with metal is a book mark. Sometime you might think about going to the state college at the end of the year in May. My sister lives by a very large university in the Midwest. She said that at the end of the school year a lot of students put everything they have on the curb. Especially furniture. But the probably get rid of their glass stuff too. Or take it to Goodwill or thrift store. Apparently there’s stuff on the curb everywhere. Just a thought.
When you picked up the owl salt and pepper shakers all I can think check the box to make sure they are in there. Friend of mine bought stuff from a thrift store that was in the box but she didn't look until she got home and it wasn't what was supposed to be in the box.
I’ve opened boxes of silverplate salt and pepper shakers to find the salt and pepper still in the shaker and the salt one severely damaged. I was hoping she was able to open and check it too.
Love watching your content. Can you offer tips wrt shipping? Most of the time USPS comes through, but it hurts when a vintage item is damaged in transit. Plus, I get a financial hit. I use bubble and honeycomb wrap and LOTS of newspaper.
Call me bad but i would have checked out the stopper in that "Star of David" cruet to see how it would fit with your antique vinegar cruet. 😅. Also, or tried that stopper in the plain cruet at the beginning of the video. But maybe you keep a few stoppers back at the shop? I had to chuckle over those old cottage cheese container premiums from "back in the day." $8.95!!!
