Just how soft is football getting?! The first one was a textbook legal hit: receiver had the ball and the tackle was lead by the shoulder! Apparently playing defense is a penalty now? What are defenders supposed to do? Might as well make it touch football now.

That reciever at the end has a future in football as a WR, there’s not to many highschool receivers who can take a shot from a safety like that on a quick slant and hang on to the ball. Route running and agility can be improved by higher level coaches and conditioning, toughness and grit cant.

The first hit was fed targeting. So ye. But I just think the first target should be a warning depending on how bad the hit was.

First tackle shouldn't have been a flag. Look to me like shoulder to chest hit. Now the last tackle can go either way.....looked like safety was going shoulder to head and any deliberate shot to the head is always going to be a flag.
