I am so honored to be a borned bread Vincentian indeed. I well appreciate you vincy vybes. You're doing a great and valuable job by advertising St.Vincent and the Grenadines. I am from South Rivers Village on St.Vincent, and residing in Barbados 🇧🇧, where I am currently living and working at The Sandals Barbados 🇧🇧 as a Security officer for almost three (3)months. Continue the priceless and efficacious job you're doing. Well recognizable at my ends. God bless your tender heart with his eternal love, peace and mercy and joy, and to your extended family in Jesus Mighty name 🙏 ❤❤
Sandals resort is beautiful indeed. Dwight, the way in which you look out for your "brothers" in advertising their small businesses etc. is inspiring and encouraging in this world where neighbourly love is dwindling. You are the prime example of the saying "live and let your brother live." Thank you for always going the extra mile to bring us these contents. May God richly bless you and your family.❤🩹🙏
FYI Sandals Resorts International is a Jamaican 🇯🇲 brand that spread it's wings across the Caribbean. St. Vincent and the Grenadines 🇻🇨 is the latest island to benefit from the increase airlift and uptick in the economic activity that a Sandals resort brings Big Up Vincy Vybe!
Could be the perfect opportunity for Airbnb setups in SVG as I’m sure most people wanting to visit SVG will look for cheaper accommodation as Sandals advertise St Vincent as a whole and not just their resort.🙏🏽❤️🇬🇧🇻🇨
I just hope there can be more daily flights between the Caribbean Islands that are affordable. I miss the days of Liat when we were able to do Islands hopping.
I am Curaçao 🇨🇼 born with Saint Vincent roots. Both island now have a SANDALS. Although welcome, I am not fond of the All Inclusive concept. Just as Cruise Ships, they tend to keep all to themselves. Guests are encouraged to only spend within the Resort
It is healthier. Most Vincentians don't understand the difference between the colors of sugar. The origin of the sugar is also very important. Guyana produces very high-quality demarara sugar. 🇻🇨🇨🇦
Yeah, man. Bless up. I was there In january and I was there for 3 months and this place was under construction man. Beautiful white beach and now after the resort has been finished. I'm Missing. to go back lay in the Sun. And enjoy the blessings of Saint Vincent.❤❤
All beaches in SVG are public, not particular portions of a given beach. Sandals cannot bar access to the beach. They can only ensure that non-guests do not use their beach chairs etc.
You do a wonderful job. I visited Baucament Bay 2004. And recently July 2023. The transformation is breathe taking. Sorry, for the lost of the beach front. But, it's a fantastic idea, opening opportunities and a boost for the St. Vincent economy. Interested to learn the cost of renting a Villa.🎉🎉❤❤ Please note Trinidad did not entertain the idea of Sandals. This project was to be estsblished in Tobago. Congratulations ❤🎉❤ for my birth place.
I've been to a couple of Sandals holidays in the 90s and they are not very local friendly. They keep you in fear of perceived crimes and scams by locals of whatever country they are in. Their guided tours are operated by them only and guests are not allowed outside of the resort parameters. This kills the earnings of the locals as they will not benefit from trading with Sandals' guests. That rope in the seas has nothing to do with the guests not allowed past it it is to restrict locals from entering what is now a "private" beach. Think about the boatmen, think about the tour guides, think about the men who take tourists to the volcano. Think about it in my opinion Sandals kill local vendors
Why is it in the mountains? Sandals are on the beach in Grenada. I mean they cannot build it on our beaches but close enough. We got the Royalton and caliviny island.
@pepsiebascombe182 what are you talking about sandals resort is not in the mountains go to Vincy and see for your self the mountains you see in the background is far away
Sandal's inclusive model of tourism shouts out locals from various parts of the economy. Most of the jobs are low pay. Sandals have extensive tax break, so governments earns very liitle per the investment. They introduce private beaches in some territories because its inclusive concept. It is not a good model for tourism develppment.
Now Looks Like it Should BE. Was a INVESTER in OLD BUCCA/BAY in 2014 Went UNDER in 2017 we were going four our 5th time in 2018 from UK But We LOST EVERYTHING in it ???
Great Video Dwight ! Is this the same location - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_zoT4nRoXzQ.htmlsi=wgeZZ0DT7qEa_R9o Around eight years ago was this the Buccament Bay Resort
@@Outdoor.Vincy.TaxiToursThey wanted Tobago but a lawyer read the contract and said no, sandals don’t pay taxes and don’t support the locals businesses
@@didismith_harris3526 meanwhile Sandals are promoting lot of local crafts and products in their shops here, partnering with all the land and sea tour operators and working with farmers and fishermen. Not to mention all the international free advertisement SVG is getting... TNT loss is SVG gain then!
Not in Trinidad. Nothing to be proud about. Always fight any entity outta Jamaica. You Sick fxxx. Anyway bigup our Vincy brothers n sisters. Your country looks beautiful
@ didismith, whatever. Typical hater. Any entity outta Jamaica is awful and bad. Enjoy your miserable life. Big up All Vincys peole dem. . Good, nice people
It is very good to see blogs from the other islands, I wish I could visit St Vincent... It's beautiful. Except for that monstrous resort... I'm sorry that the natural beauty of your island has been destroyed by that horrid creation. They even replaced the sand on the beach!??? Too bad for the fauna of that bay eh!?? Sandals can't have that...they have a reputation for destroying areas for their resorts...and their exclusive clientele. Thank god they did not in fact end up setting up shop in Tobago We do not want them here... We happen to like our wildlife and our natural environment.
That's true. Bacaument bay is black sand. Which glitters (stars) under the moon. At the mouth of the river, it's where you can catch "chi chi" Now, that maybe destroyed.
