I get 6 cps and can compete against people that get twice my cps, so it really isn't THAT important. However I do feel I would be a lot better if I learned to click faster. In the end though, aim is much more important that cps.

To be honest, jitter clicking is only good if you're accurate while clicking really fast. Otherwise it's useless.

I know some people will say "if jitterclicking does nothing, why is it so popular?" - aside from being a bragging right (seriously, people brag about their CPS as if it's a Nobel prize), the reason that so many 'good' PvPers jitterclick is because of the point I mentioned at 7:00. I should have expanded on that a little more looking back at it, but many PvP RU-vidrs simply learned to jitterclick because they already excelled in all other areas of the game. People who watch these RU-vidrs think "oh, this guy's good, and he jitterclicks...so if I jitterclick, I'll go be good too!", creating this facade that higher CPS will make you better at the game.

I have much better aim when I jitterclick. + when I click 5-7 cps I get destroyed by everyone (even with decent aim) I understand my situation is abnormal, but I'm sure others have the same situation as me.

I’ll tell you why cps higher than 8 is better. You can easily combo people which I know from experience, I use to click 6-7 cps and would get railed constantly it got to the point where I downloaded an Auto clicker (Yes I did do that) to actual win games and I preformed amazing. So I tried mixing it up once and I downloaded the Badlion Client (It doesnt improve your pvp) and tried to jitter click and actually for once killed the best player on the server I played on. Now, let me tell why clicking higher than 8 cps is bad. As refraction has already talked about this I wont go into brief explanation, your aim will be garbage, you wont be able to consistently combo people if you have to stop jitter clicking to aim. And don’t hack, don’t be a loser like me who couldn’t get good at a block game.

The reason cps can be so good is that every time you hit someone, you stop sprinting. And when I say hit, I mean the game registered you clicked with your cursor on a player. So if you get incredibly high cps, you get a staggering effect that decreases your KB significantly and makes it harder to hit. With a low cps you obviously can’t get this so you are at a disadvantage.

"Jitterclicking is considered one of the most skillful things to learn and properly execute in Minecraft PvP...but is it really that useful?" - Just saying it doesn't take that long to learn and execute properly. Click speed only matters if you get a high ping, as it essentially improves your hit registration as more attack packets are sent to the server. Also, there is considerable evidence of a high click speed reducing your velocity, thus reducing your kb (I myself was skeptical of this so I tested out a 20 cps autoclicker on sumo in SkylandKits with a friend and found that I did really good versus a 13 cps autoclicker). Thus, jitter clicking does indeed help you in PvP. However, it is not essential, though the majority of players that play on Hypixel that are considering "good" without jittering are more of strategist versus PvPers.

I fell into this trap of focusing on jitter rather than aiming really hard and not only did it stunt my potential skill growth, the muscle memory of jitter clicking is actually negatively affecting my performance in other games like Osu (i usually use keyboard to click anyway but because of my jitter click muscle memory I can't do mouse only at all). Jitter is basically only worth it in very melee heavy gamemodes like pot PvP, and I now find those types of modes extremely boring anyway

i thought i was watching a cométary about why cps isn’t required but. instead......i ended up watching a sick 1v5 clutch in skywars...gg man

you are absolutely correct i was actually jitter clicking in duels and in all fights that i had been playing with. most players were really killing me with GOOD SKILLS and i had a hard HARD time aiming at my opponent. after that happen, i didn’t really know what to do after that. i was deciding myself if i should practice jitter clicking more in skywars or keep looking at videos of (How To Jitter Click and Aim). i choose to play skywars because i wanna see myself how good can i really be in PvP. i tried so many attempts to aim and jitter click to my opponents. Later after that, i decided to jitter click and aim at bedwars because bedwars doesn’t really have that much players that are really pro at PvP. i jitter click at my opponents and i got a decent amount of kills which is 6 - 8 kills. i was really proud of myself since i had so many kills in bedwars at least. after that happen it started to go wrong now. people started going to our base and tried to destroy our bed. i tried to knock them off to the void and i suddenly got killed from that person that came down and hitted me really fast. i was very frustrated of myself because i didn’t know how to click faster and aim at the same time. died and died so many rounds in bedwars until i did at least win the first round. but then again at the next round i lost AGAIN because i wasn’t smart enough. after i lost this round, i decided to quit bedwars, disconnect hypixel and clicked (Quit Game). i decided to just listen to music over night and shut down my gaming laptop and go to bed. the next day i was just scrolling down my homepage of youtube and randomly FOUND THIS VIDEO. i was like “hmmm whats this gonna be about 🤔 is it gonna help me or is it just gonna not make me learn even more than the previous (How To Jitter Click Videos). i decided to click this video just in case if i ACTUALLY WAS NOT SMART ENOUGH about the jitter clicking and the CPS. i watched the whole video listening every word you said to your viewers and i finally realized that CPS and jitter clicking dont really matter and help with your PvP skills. i was like (GASPS, SO JITTER CLICKING AND THE CPS DONT ACTUALLY REALLY MATTER FOR PVP.) and now i finally learned that you should focus on your aim and your keyboard most then your CPS and jitter clicking. and i should learn how to aim at your opponent MORE instead of learning how to jitter click. Tight is a pro at Combo, I looked at his video and he would get 5-7 cps and still destroys his enemies. He barely jitter during the fight.

It doesn't make you better in general, but you get less knockback. So technically it DOES make you better.

I have a g402 and the dpi buttons are like half inside the mouse button so the way I jitterclick I sometimes find myself just spamming the dpi buttons so I just click 1 finger and get 6-7 cps and still get like a 45 - 50 bedwars win percent

Jitterclicking only matters if you play pot or combo ladder. Aside from that it isn't something you should bother trying to do

when i first started minecraft pvp i was already butterflying 13 cps on a work mouse. now i have a mouse that doesnt register butterfly clicks and i started to normal click. i feel like my aim is better butterfly clicking for some reason and my pvp just became worse. i feel like getting insane 8 block combos is well dependant on cps but for normal skywars there is no need

Well, I was actually trying to figure this out about 3 weeks ago, and watching this video has finally given me my answers, you did mention a couple things that are true but there are some things you haven’t mentioned that I feel the need to say aloud for, here is my conclusion based off everything I’ve figured out and the stuff you’ve said *How fast cps doesn’t matter all too much* On most servers such as hypixel, the hive, mineplex, etc. it doesn’t matter if you click fast because so many of your clicks aren’t registered, if you click extremely fast, chances are the servers just going to cut it down to at least 3-4 cps for some reason, not sure why but it’s true. *Why cps does effect your pvp* I know this may be a bit off topic but sometimes you need high cps on both your left, and right mouse button. Let’s pretend you’re in skywars, and you’ve just saw a video of this person jitterbridging, or a person breazily bridging, and you’re thinking that you want to try doing that! Well, you’re not going to be able to do it with 5 cps, it’s highly recommended that you click at 10-12 cps because than you’ll be able to actually place the blocks. Some other things that might include fast clicking is stuff like enchantment bottles, some games are very high paced, and one way to get all your experience bottles out is by jitterclicking with your Right mouse button, it works really efficiently, I can pretty much go through an entire stack of them in 6 seconds! Now on to the useful part about it. Now, you want to go to another server, you want to go to something like Badlion, or VeltPvP, so you get on the server and you go to practice pvp, you decide to go to Combo pvping, in combo pvping, every hit is registered! So if you click at 10 cps, it will actually hit your opponent 10 times in a second! That’s the one time you’ll be able to register every hit, the hard thing however is trying to get the first hit so the other person doesn’t combo you out, well once again that’s where jitterclicking comes in handy! I hope this info clarified a few more things for you :D now I need to hope I didn’t make this entire comment for nothing!

i normal click at eight max, i can jitter click faster than my mouse could render(partly because i have a free mouse instead of a expensive mouse), but i stopped jitter clicking because it is actually quite damaging to the mouse, and doesn't give you that big of an edge in pvp. i remember when i learned drag clicking, i was so exited, but then i did some research on how mush damage it does on the mouse and i quit trying to click 20 cps

This is actually true, I once played hypixel duels and I was butterfly clicking(for which my aim is good) and I was getting 5-6 cps which is terrible but I got like a 7 win streak before dying just because I was playing smart.

Some ppl are better at aiming with jitter. Then at normal clicking. And if you click faster you can intently hit your target the seconed he gets into your hit range. And then you can combo them. Edit: the seconed thing about the combo you already said it

Ok so my opinion: Jittering it increases your reach by less then 0.5 blocks and takes less kb...if your good at the game and dont jitter you can improve yourself by jittering,BUT i whould RECOMMEND TO LEARN HOW TO AIM AND USE KEYBOARD FIRST...if you think your good at that you can start jitttering..(I personally got good at aiming and keyboarding then started jittering)You can not jitter(dont care about your cps)but focus more on your keyboard
