Maybe it's just an animation mistake bcuz the old season has a TON of animation mistakes....but the rumor of Wu preventing Morro being the green ninja is quite interesting to hear..
I don't know, but I feel like they do not do those mistakes by accident. Even if Wu did it, I'm sure they let this mistake to make the community discuss and create theories.
@@montgomerygarmadon4688 Ah yes, just like how they gave Wu, Cole's eyebrows for one frame, in season 1, episode 2, "home". This must mean that Cole is Wu. The master of earth that we see is a cloned version of Wu that he created when he was a teenager, Wu gave Cole the power of not being able to age and such. He then wiped cole of his memories and set him into a cryostasisgoldenchamber which sent Cole to sleep, he used the overlord's dark magic to give cole fake memories. He put him in a family that had no significance and manipulated cole to think his mother was the previous master of quakes. When Cole climbed the mountain, Wu said his wise talk and Cole joined the team.
@@montgomerygarmadon4688 PS. Wu has Oni Blood, so maybe for one second he forgot to keep his shapeshift on 100% and his eyebrows were exposed. They do not make those mistakes by accident 🙃
Biggest lie could be Lloyd being a so to garmadon, wu could be Lloyd's father since Misako and Wu had a relationships while Garmadon was being trained by Chen, and garmadons hair is shown to be brown and so is his mother misako, Wu could be his father since wu is blonde and so is lloyd
Blonde is recessive so if both misako and Garmadon carry the gene, lloyd could be blonde still. You're also forgetting that he's at least an eighth dragon and an eighth oni meaning his human form could be purely a manifestation or shape shift.
This is quite an interesting theory. I like the idea especially that wu somehow saw into the future maybe what he would do when morro went mad with power. That would have been a very good reason as to "change destiny" Its pretty good as a theory and it would have probably made season 5 more interesting.
Destiny was written by those in the Cloud Kingdom S5. Wu didn’t choose Destiny, just forced it on Lloyd. A child mind you. The Chosen One aka Lloyd didn’t expect to be the Green Ninja, while Morro wanted to badly be the Green Ninja to the point it corrupted him. S5 As Misako stated to Lloyd; “That is why Destiny chose you as the Green Ninja.” Let’s be real though if the Green Ninja becomes the Ultimate Spinjitsu Master, the Golden Ninja he should at least come from God’s lineage aka the 1st Spinjitsu Master.
Plus, in season five, Fenwick (I think that's how his name is spelled) said that it was decided that Lloyd was the green ninja, but Fenwick is a dirty liar, so this comment is pratically contradicting itself.
This isn’t how Wu wants to do this but he doesn’t have a choice, before the first five he had a first student plus street boy with a giffed power of wind Morrow, Wu thought Morrow would become the green ninja, but he was wrong with 4 golden weapons, he couldn’t tell the students and his family about the master of wind
This is what I would imagine what would happen with Morro as a former Jedi student who fell to the Dark Side once he was rejected the position of the Green Jedi.
The reason why Master Wu did not change destiny itself: In Kingdom Come, Fenwick (the jerk) said that they choose Lloyd as the green ninja , not Morro which was written more than a thousand years ago before the events in the show even begin.
I recently came up with a theory where morro was the green ninja, but he wasn’t “pure of heart”, therefore after he eventually defeated aspheera, he took the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu. The effects of the scroll, start to make morro even more evil and powerful, even though it isn’t that obvious at first. But then, (if it’s the same storyline as the theory in this video) morro somehow finds out that Wu was planning on switching the sword of fire for a normal katana, and with his evil from inside him and the scroll, combined with this new discovery, he becomes filled with rage, murdering master wu. Now, supposing at this point that the overlord hasn’t been awakened yet, Morro, seeking more power, finds the dark island, finds, and kills the overlord, somehow absorbing all of his powers too. Now Morro is unstoppable, and takes over Ninjago with this newfound power. He then seeks out the realm Crystal, so he can conquer the 16 realms, however, before he can, he ends up finding the realm that we see Lloyd talking to the FSM in from season 10. There, he finds the FSM, and the two fight. Morro barely beats him, but since the FSM is gone for good, all elemental powersfail to work. Fortunately for morro, it is explained in seabound that the FSM struggled to control the elements of water and WIND, so Morro’s power is ineffected. From there, he starts conquering the 16 realms, with no elemental masters to stop him. Eventually he finds the oni, and defeats the omega with ease, becoming the Oni King. Another month passes and morro has successfully conquered the 16 realms. All hope seems to be lost, however, somewhere in Ninjago, there is a man named Acronix, awaiting the arrival of the third timeblade…
The biggest question is the timeline. For example, when I start dating Misako, we were at the same age, even if I am one of the oldest persons in Ninjago. I have born a long before Misako. And with that, Lloyd should live more than his friends, because he is both younger and my son.
you have a point! Maybe I missed something, but weren't the golden weapons supposed to be guarded from everyone in temples and by dragons? How did Wu have them in the Monastery?
no because the golden weapons were hidden when garmadon was exiled to the underworld when wu was training morro is in the period when garmadon was training with chen so during the serpentine war sorry if I made grammatical errors
It kinda makes sense, bc Lloyd didn't defeat the over lord, Zane did, but obviously Zane didn't either bc he's not destined to, hence now the newest season, "Crystalized"
Certainly an animation glitch, but ... it may have been that Ray reforged the golden katana at some point to resemble the one Kai wields. Much like how these new questionable golden weapons in the sets can be explained as being the reforged ones Kai made in a hurry to battle the Oni.
The biggest lie was when Morro was defeated at most, Wu didn't tell the ninja about Aspheera, especially after that. But it wasnt made up at the time also
To me this is a jerkish move on wu’s part he could’ve tried to mentally train morrow to make sure morrow he could be a good or passable hero at the least
You know, I wonder what the Ninjago universe would be like if Morro had never left Wu. Let’s say in this alternate timeline sensei Wu doesn’t tell his first student about the prophecy of the green ninja. (Maybe he just doesn’t bring it up or maybe he decides to wait until he’s matured as Wu might sense a bit of over confidence and pride coming from a student?) Jump to the time of the pilot, he would likely be a part of the original ninja group, but he would be notably older than Kai, Cole, and Jay (i’ve heard some people say Zane is about the same age as Morro, but I don’t know for sure). I’m not sure which ninja color his uniform would become. I doubt Wu would give him a green uniform if he wasn’t sure if he was the green ninja yet. (i’ll leave this up to your imagination.) By the end of the special when you get settled hence that his more ego filled personality as he is very clearly frustrated with the fact everyone except him received a golden weapon to go with their powers. Season one would then roll around with everyone discovering the legend of the green ninja, and like how things played out in the first 10 episodes would be a large debate about who would fulfill that role. Morro’s pride would lead him to believe that he is destined to be the green ninja, perhaps he would even use the fact that he’s the only one who doesn’t have a golden weapon as proof that he is destined to be the green ninja as he “doesn’t need a weapon“. Eventually episode 10 would roll around where are the only two ninjas who haven’t unlocked their full potential would be Kai and Morro. They would both have a similar desire to become the green ninja, and I could see them both having somewhat of a rivalry about it with them both trying to attack Garmadon at the same time to prove themselves worthy. Near the end of the episode there could be Kai’s choice between saving Lloyd or saving the fang blade, and perhaps Morro could be in the same situation as him. Kai chooses to do the right thing and save Lloyd, while Morro tries to prove himself worthy of the title of green ninja by securing the fang blade, justifying it to himself by saying he’s “putting Ninjago first“. By the end of the episode Lloyd is revealed to be the Real Green ninja, and Kai is at peace with that, but Morro can’t accept that and leaves to try and prove destiny wrong. From there, you could take the story in about anyway you want with the master of wind. Maybe he tries defeating Garmadon on his own? Maybe he teams up with a villain too faced off against Garmadon or the overlord? Maybe he could return during the tournament of elements? Or maybe he becomes a ghost at some point and some version of season five unfolds similar to how we know it?
It wouldn’t really fit into the story now but If they somehow got morro back and a villain he could see the sword of fire and realize he was tricked the hole time
I honestly think that nobody could’ve been the green ninja but Lloyd. The weapons basically emulating the green energy symbolizing that Lloyd is the green ninja means the weapons probably would’ve only responded to a user of green energy because of it being essentially a left over of the fsm power I mean how’d they know the GREEN NINJA would wield GREEN ENERGY
But think about it what if in the realm where they write the future, if morro could define destiny that means he actually could have been. And shown in the ninjago series that wasn't all of the golden weapons the sword of fire isnt there it's just a regular golden sword, my theory is that one of the students was so mad that morro was getting more attention and swapped the weapons
I think, it's a mistake.'Cause if it wasn't Lloyd wouldn't be the Green Ninja, but maybe after Morro come to The Curse Realm, maybe Destiny took it, as His death, and there now was Another Green Ninja - Lloyd. But Master Wu wouldn't problay lie to Morro, He was always listening to Him, and etc.. There are also many Peoples in Ninjago, so, finding Green Ninja wouldn't be easy
like the sord of fire, there was only one of the shuriken of ice, and the Syth of quakes, and the shuriken of ice also doesn't have a crystal as they usually do
Dude what if that was Morros final test, rejection and that if he passed It máster Wu would put the actual sword of fire, that would have ben such a compeling story
I think that the animators accidentally switched the sword of fire with a random golden katana. I think it's weird that yang's temple and R.E.X use the sword of fire mech.
After watching this video, and seeing the nunchucks of lightning not have the electricity between the two handles, maybe that's possibly how Wu sabotaged it. As every other scene with them, they have the lightning holding them together. It's probably just an error but maybe that could also be how Wu sabotages Morro.
Tbh Moro is more skilled than Lloyd and can easily beat him in combat. He was just wanting power but if he had the power he would not be needing any more power and get that angry power hungry stage.
It is probably an animation error or because in the cloud kingdom ep one of the writers did say that they chose lloyd to be the green ninja there so I highly doubt master Wu did this
I have a little theory Maybe Wu made Morro be rejected in another way by just replace the sword of fire (becaus it's an animation mistake) But as I remember (it's been a while since I watched Possession) Wu was the one who told the ninja about the cloud kingdome Maybe he litteraly went to the kingdome to change the destiny of Morro so he would have failed the test, so Wu would have change the destiny itself to prevent from Morro being the green ninja I know it's weird but just think about it, it can be in some way possible so Wu would have real shame (not sure of the word (I'm not an english speaker sorry)) of what he did
Destiny was written by those in the Cloud Kingdom S5, it was literally mentioned. Wu didn’t choose Destiny, just forced it on Lloyd, not giving him an actual option to decline. A child mind you. The Chosen One didn’t expect to be the Green Ninja, while Morro wanted to badly be the Green Ninja to the point it corrupted him. -S5 Interaction between Lloyd & his father. Lloyd said “But how? I'm not the Green Ninja anymore.” Garmadon told Lloyd” It was never the color of the gi that made you who you are. It was the color of your heart. Don't give up.” -S5 As Misako stated to Lloyd; “That is why Destiny chose you as the Green Ninja.” -S8 Mistake to Lloyd, “You may not have power, but that is not what made you powerful. What made you powerful it was knowing what to do & when to do it.” -S9 Lloyd to Master Wu, “Mistake taught me power isn’t what makes the Green Ninja it’s the person behind the power.” Let’s be real though if the Green Ninja becomes the Ultimate Spinjitsu Master, the Golden Ninja he should at least come from God’s lineage aka the 1st Spinjitsu Master. The Sword of Fire was an animation mistake, same with it being a mistake when they had Jay use wind earlier on. Let’s not forget Wu assumed many would be the Green Ninja, starting with himself (Wu), to Morro, to Jay, Kai, Zane, Cole & Nya. He was mistaken, as I wrote Wu did not make Destiny, did not write it, just forced it on Lloyd.
He cannot be the green ninja because element powers are inherited so he is not a decendant of the first spin hits us master therefore he isn’t the green ninja
i don't think its a lie because of his family tree Wu and garmadon are sons of the first spinjitzu master and lloyd is 3 gen and has both side of good and evil
I have a really weird feeling that morrow is not dead. What if morrow returns, but in the process finds a new wind element. What if that happens in season 16-17😦🤔
He's not, he's currently in the departed realm along with the preeminent, all residents of djinjago, mistake, the oni, the other ghosts, harumi, iron baron (maybe), kalmaar and wojira
I actually really like this theory but i feel like possesion would have gone much darker if this theory were to be true. For now I'm just simply going to visualize it as an animation error
I am only now realizing that not only was Garmadon thinking Lloyd was 7 and not 16 in the movie was evidence that he is a negligible father, but also kind of a reference to the fact that Lloyd was basically 7 before being aged up by that potion that turned the grundel(or whatever it was called) into a fossil in the show and is kinda poking fun at it.
What don't make sense is how did garmadon and Misako have Lloyd ith they were basically in their 60s when he was around 10 And Wu accidentally banned Garmadon to the underworld when they were younger (like between 20 and 30 ?) It makes no sense Edit: Wu also said he was thousands of years in the last seasons, but it doesn't work either
Well, now we know that wind is a special element that FSM didn't master because it belonged to wojira, and Wu never heard of his father mastering wind, so seeing a master of wind must've been very shocking for Wu, asuming no one controlled it before him/he never saw anyone control it
Season 5 was my favourite season, it has a lot of plot twists, dramatic scenes, and a good backstory alongside with the voice acting and animation And i wish this theory could be true and get a part 2 for morro
@@montgomerygarmadon4688 The story is practically copied. but the weaknesses, plot (morro tried summoning a master, Tai lung was solo), and even personalities. Morro lets himself sink even though he could have been saved by Wu Tai Lung sinks to his hatred and overconfidence.
And I think with a change in heart and proper training: he could change like he did before he died at the end. He probably was 50/50 likely to be worthy of the green ninja.
First the Overlord, then Morro, and even Aspheera! Wu should really start telling people about all his adversaries. It's like he told us about Garmadon, and the rest of the villains the ninja figure out as the show goes despite Wu very well knowing most of them.
Id honestly love to see morro get a full redemption ark to finally make his writing feel more emotional, for an example, maybe instead of cole becoming human again, we still have cole being a ghost, and morro getting more development
I think Morro would change to be more heroic after being chosen. Wu would teach him to be less arrogant and help him with his superiority complex or whatever it's called
While I do like this theory, I just find it invalid because I always saw that as just an animation mistake. I like Morro and want him to return, but to build on to that one mistake is not the way I want him to return, because then that would likely make him a enemy, again. I just want him to return to help the new master of wind and then get sucked into an adventure with the ninja. That would likely make him an ally to the ninja at least for that one season. That is all I want. However, this is a cool theory
