As someone who lives in a forest, this is just normal deer behaviour. Sometimes I answer the door and there's just a deer there offering me random stuff.
Imagine, you open your door and see a Deer, surrounded by 3 other deer standing on their hind-legs. In a panic, you shoot the deer in front of you... then one of the 3 standing deer speaks. "The offering has been acccepted." They slowly lower their forelegs, before scattering back into the forest as if they were normal deer.

hi! you're thinking of skinwalkers, and even then it's the actual native word for them as it's thought to attract them, not the term skinwalker itself. since the word skinwalker isn't in the native language it does not hold the same power and would not attract them. wendigo is fine to say, but romanticizing it or disregarding the actual folklore behind them is the bad part. that's what happens in a lot of media today. It's become just "humanoid with deer skull and makes funny noises", but obviously it's nothing like that in the culture it originates from and that's what many people take issue with. people not taking it seriously and making a sort of joke out of it is the problem

The difference is Phasmophobia actually did something unique and had fun and interesting gameplay. West Hunt, Agrou, and this game are all visually bland versions of games that already existed but using cheap assets.
