Just a reminder, Gamrot won with Tsarukyan, who just defeated Charles. I know MMA math doesn't count like that, but Gamrot and Arman have quite similar style, both are relying heavily on their wrestling, and it seems to be kryptonite for Charles.

Gamrot may get KOed, but if he somehow does not, I believe he will do decently well on the ground. I don't believe Charles has the TDD Benny had and also Charles does not stuff TDs instinctively.

I just rewatched Gamrot vs Arman today and man people sleep on Gamrot. He’s an amazing fighter. In those later rounds he completely out wrestled Arman and out worked him

Ngl my biggest narrative shift is with Max, I actually picked him to beat Gaethje but I thought Gaethje would beat him badly in the early rounds and would gas out and Max would take over in the final rounds, but Max just completely destroyed him and flatline KOed him. I thought Topuria would beat Max before the Gaethje fight but now I’m not so certain, Volkanovski was beating Topuria and outpointing him before the KO and I can pretty much see Max doing the same except he isn’t getting chinned the first good shot that lands on him, if Topuria is the first to crack his chin that’d be an insane moment and would give him an aura of invincibility but I think Max gives him a lot of problems

I knew Gaethje would lose when I heard about his drinking problem. His liver is probably shot and wouldn't be able to handle any hard blows. As much as I love Gaethje as a fighter, that fight was difficult to watch, and I agree he should retire.
