He explained it, when the 500k bounty is still in play the EV of knocking someone out is huge. You only need around 30% equity, maybe even less, against his whole range for it to be profitable.
So I get the math but that the same time aren’t short stacks gonna be aware of that as well and only shove monsters preflop? I guess it’s player dependent but you’re mostly going to be dominated there. And yes I am aware that you still have the odds to call.
16:16 that mmytell account is weird. Not only was that awful play, but the account had basically 200 games of micro buy-ins and now suddenly only plays $2.5k buy-ins. Sometimes 4 bullets at a time. Something doesn’t seem right there…
@@Nosofastdonkey no, but it feels a bit like a bot account, which played some low-level stake games to go under the radar and then going for the big pay days. Although if you look at their results, the AI can't be configured very well!
