This is exactly what makes o'malley so interesting. And Aljo said it best. It sucks to lose the belt, but to a guy with 69 tatooed on his face? It seems like he doesn't take the sport serious, which adds extra pressure to his opponents. Meanwhile, he trains real hard - he's not just some freak of nature. But his appearance almost tricks ppl into thinking they should be able to beat him real easy, and works as some kind of mind fuck cause they also know he's dangerous

I hate the opinion that you have a better legacy because you retired early/on time. God forbid anyone have nuance and we appreciate every fight the legends give us and kinda seperate their prime from their for fun slow no reflexes fights. I think we already do to some degree, only new fans really bring up Silvas loss streak because we know he was just in there cuz he loved it and he entertained us, for me its a + I know im in the minority tho.

Not really Leon’s full fault some of his fights are slow same thing with Izzy sometimes his opponents refuse to be aggressive understandably so considering they are elite counter strikers that will pick you apart and they are also very hard to take down and wrestle but that’s all you can really do against them anyway so that’s a big reason their fights can be slow. Still wouldn’t call them boring at all tho but they aren’t the most entertaining but again not really fully their fault. If their opponents walked at them all aggressive they be exactly like Silva and be knocking people out left and right and put on shows.

He lost to Gustafsen, and he absolutely lost to Reyes. And he has been on PEDs his entire career, but USADA will not convict him on it.
