@@brian636 I have one in my new F150 truck, pretty similiar motors and I love it. Also my brother has the same van and it's great for highway when it's all loaded. Very powerfull and smooth motors
A great setup for the back of the van for securing bikes is taking a square tubing and welding it to the floor up near the front of the vans “bike area”. Then get some wheel chocks they don’t have to be expensive, like the ones you can fasten to the bed of a truck. Drill multiples holes horizontally (back to front) through the square tubing that match up with the wheel chocks mounting holes. Then all you need is some bolts, nuts and lock washers and you can move the chocks from side to side along the floor fasten them to the square tubing to accommodate what ever size bike you have. End result the tubing is the main structure and the wheel chocks you can relocate depending on your need. Secure, removable and adjustable. Then you could also use the tie down spots in the wheel chocks themselves.
Nice bro! I’m genuinely happy for you especially after seeing and thinking about the lack of comfort traveling with the other van and knowing how much more enjoyable your trips and such will be now! Much love bro!
I definitely am interested in the van build. I love any sort of build series, but a motovan is something that me and several of my buddies have spent a fair bit of time talking about. Thanks for uploading!
Congrats bro! In my van (express 1500), I put a pitbull stand on one side for my main f4i and I welded D rings throughout so I can fit two big bikes and a grom. Even if I'm not hauling my f4i, the mount doesn't get in the way. In a low roof van, I'd say it's the best money I've spent since it's way easier to load/unload when you can't stand up.
Get (or design if it doesn’t exist) and metal bar that you bolt to the floor that you can attach front wheel chucks to. That way you can space them out/remove or add another depending on how many bikes you have with you
Hell yeah dude they ride like a dream. Glad you finally pulled the trigger. It’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. Go for spray foam insulation. Lay down a half inch ply subfloor. Get a battery that’s charged off your alternator for inside the van to run all your goods and charge your shit. Roof vent is a must. A/C unit is nice if you plan on hauling a generator with you everywhere.
Very wise investment actually. Behind the scenes with Brian is the next best thing to being on the scene with Brian. Of course it's a great idea, git er done!
I dig it! Iv'e been interested in these vans for a few years now and its good to see someone my age actually copin one! Let us know how you trick it out.
Congrats on the rig man!! Definitely excited to see the build. To tie the bikes down just put down a couple E-tracks where you want the front tires to be, and use the wheel chocks for the E-track. You can also get Eye hooks for them so you can run the straps there too.
Hell yes bro! Just helped my good friend build his older Dodge van into a stunt van and it came out super nice, had to build him a custom bike rack for his 636 after we put the bed in but came out great with insallation and custom wood paneling. Probably could have got the bike but he wanted a fridge and freezer in it as well lol
I watched a fishing tuber build one of these that he used to travel the whole country. So it is badass to see how far you take this so i vote yes van build series.
Dude I always wanted to build a van like that to put my bike in and go travel/camp like a boss. Perfect mini rv! That will be a dope build series also all ur real ppl will watch💯
Came to learn about bikes but I'd love to see how you put this together. My dad's done a few camper conversions in early 90s Eurovans. I think the biggest challenge was deciding what to commit too because your imagination takes over on these things pretty quick.
Hey Brian I have a thought. If you don't mind crouching some you could build up the area from the partition back going across the wheel arches as a flat area to park two bikes (with built in floor anchor points of you can reinforce it) and set up a sliding tool bed area underneath.
Hell Yeah Transit build ! I worked at ford for a while and these things are so easy and comforting to drive . Light steering and good visibility for how long it is . Congrats brotha
Hell yeah that's sick af, I want something to this effect so I can be moving around n getting to more rides! Keep it up man can't wait to see more videos on the build!
You should get some Tractor Trailer, Dry Van Load bars. They’d work Perfect in that Transit bro... basically like ratcheting bars that are adjustable in size ... Can get them and just about any of the Major Truck stops..
Honest advice for the stands... go to a Fabricator, it’s best to have something custom made for it, it will be a bit pricy but it’s going to be worth it at the end! 🦾
You can always bolt a couple E track rails on the ground and they make motorcycle wheel chocks that lock into them so you can remove them and place them in different positions depending on the bikes your hauling. Keep all the videos coming🤙 the more the merrier
LETS SEE MORE VAN UPDATES AND MODS!! LOVE IT screw those that dont wanna see all the parts that go into living the stunt life. Love the content my guy!!
can’t wait to see what type of videos this van brings man, your a huge inspiration and deffinetely made my mind up to attempt riding when i’m older , notifs on man keep grinding i’m always supporting 👏🏼
