i know, it's stupid. mediocre player gets in trouble, "he's a grown adult, he must learn." star gets in trouble, "he's just a kid, it was an honest mistake".
Exploiting a woman? What a bunch of two faced idiots. Anyonemarried or not would have hit it unless married to Unicorn. Unicornwould say bring her to bed with US. Hate crybabies with no ability to live in reality
@@wade5941 Yeah hes up against North Dakota State and about 3-4 other good teams in that conference.....plus a season opener against Lincoln Riley's Oklahoma Sooners this year
He looks like a true centralist on the outside, one who's a perfect fit for some obscure location in the middle of a great big huge landmass. I am judging a book by its cover, but he looks like the uncle that would come over to explain to you about the importance of hard work and structure at a family dinner, or help out with a weltlich project.
@@brettbanta2100 What was that line from 10 Things I Hate About You? "Why is everyone after this chick? She have beer flavored nipples or something?" Ha!
I had no idea how much of a jerk he was until watching this video. I myself am a Kentucky fan and still am glad this guy is leaving, and wish the best for Louisville in the years to come (oh also can we get a sequel to this with rick Petino please)
@@YeeBoi_420, as I mentioned in my earlier comment, I grew up in College Station. I was surrounded by Aggie bullshit 24/7. I was so happy when I left. The best view of College Station is the water tower in your rear view mirror.
As a lifelong Arkansas fan this video made me smile because you accurately represented who this man is. I remember the year he was hired by Arkansas I was so upset because of what he had done to Atlanta and Louisville. He came to my high school to recruit our eventual starter Tyler Wilson and I had an opportunity to meet him in the hallway between classes as he was talking to our football coach. I walked right past him and kept moving to the next class. I didn't want to meet him because I figured he'd be gone by the next year. It took a couple of years but he still proved me right and to this day I don't regret not meeting him in that hallway. Scumbag is right.
Scotty FRESH So what he left atlanta he didn't have a good relationship with the players and they were glad he was gone. So what's the point of him staying there on a terrible team. And Nick Saban quit the dolphins because of the same reason.
Scotty FRESH I either way it wasn't going to work out in atlanta obviously the players wasn't going to play for him. We seen teams quit on coaches before so who to say he didn't do the right thing by just leaving.
In the meantime, Arkansas had 10 win seasons, was very competitive in the BY FAR toughest division in college football at the time. You stole Wisconsin's coach and can't get anywhere near that level of success. Petrino is almost certainly a man of loose morals. And he can't win the big game. But he came close for you Arkansians. Nick Saban pretty much kept you all off the national championship board while Petrino was there. You could do a lot worse.
darf doodle definitely didn't steal him he came willingly, and yes we did do worse John L. Smith so yeah Petrino was actually a shitty coach if he had him on the staff.
You know there's no such thing as karma, right? Getting fired due to your actions is not karma. Karma is a mythical energy that provides justice based on prior transgressions. I guess the same morons who believe in karma also say, "everything happens for a reason."
But that's pretty common in the coaching world, i guarantee you 70% of the coaches in college sports are cheating on their wives. Bobby and charlie strong are just the ones that have been caught, i bet you my next paycheck jimbo fisher was serving up some young hottie in tallahasee, that's why his wife got revenge on him by cheating on him with a young stud.
Only difference Myers actually built programs bowling green, Utah rebuilt Florida and turned dixxwinnisubinto perennial B1G champions and most importantly masters of Michigan. Ask anyone Most job is win that game. It’s not known as “The game” with out cause. Jimbo never did defeat Meyer. 🫡
I hope this video gets an update. The storyline of his return to Arkansas football 11 years later is worth the update. How it happened, what’s to come and the conversation around it is going to be entertaining
Just once I would love to see the NCAA open the books on what players and coaches get away with that the public never sees. Especially the big schools. Saban tries to act like he's such a nice guy. Sorry Nick, your ego shines through like a lighthouse.
8 years after he got caught with his sidechick, Arkansas is just now starting to recover from this, as far as our performance on the field is concerned.
Petrino takes Arkansas to the Sugar Bowl --> Petrino fired from Arkansas, team has multiple losing seasons --> Petrino coaches a season at Western Kentucky --> Arkansas loses to WKU this year?!?!?! Literally EVERYTHING this man touches ends up poisoning my poor Razorbacks, goddamnit.......
When everyone in Atlanta heard about his motorcycle accident their response was, “ I hope nobody else got hurt.” Their second response was, “I hope the motorcycle didn’t get scratched.”
It makes me sad that my alma mater has to stoop to hiring a guy that has this video on youtube, and especially so because all this is true. Petrino's latest shenanigan was to take a job at UNLV early this year, then after 2 weeks leave for TAMU. So Arkansas is his 4th job this year. he signed a a2 year contract at Arkansas and I can't imagine him being here any longer than that, maybe just 1 year. I sure hope he doesn't do anything else to embarrass the state of Arkansas.
How he left the Atlanta Falcons is still just completely gutless. He knew he couldn't coach in the NFL, especially when Michael Vick went to prison. His team was 3-9, and he tucks his tail between his legs and runs back to college.
After recent events I remembered this video. If you thought all of this was bad now Arkansas took Bobby Petrino back. This video is FACTS, you don’t need morals you just need to know how to win.
There's a rumor that Petrino never crashed his bike at all, that he was with his mistress and her fiance just happened to drive by them. They all pulled over and Petrino got his ass kicked.
@@ebsmith29 Yes they did. The Petrino incident, known as 'Jetgate', was the last week of the regular season in 2003. Auburn went undefeated in 2004 and was snubbed by the BCS for the National Championship game. An Auburn vs USC championship game would've been much better than the 55-19 beating USC gave Oklahoma. Btw, I say all this as an Alabama fan so I'm definitely not biased.
You can't be serious ! Olsen was a good player, Cutler and De Angelo made the Bears go through hell for a long time. It's gonna be a long time before they are a winning team.
Was absolutely livid when UofL brought him back in '14. He is a cheat, an ass, and an all around terrible person to have around younger minds. Almost made me give up on my lifelong team over the decision. The scandals on the basketball side of things in the following years definitely didn't help my feelings.
I knew a long time college football official (a side judge) and asked him what coach was the biggest asshole he ever dealt with. It took him about a half second to say Petrino. Years later he mentioned that then Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson was hard to deal with. I asked him if Johnson was in Petrino's class, and he just scoffed that no one was in Petrino's class.
Hey man! You got some great content, keep it up! You are oging fairly deep, finding new stories to tell that I haven't heard before. When you're a Browns fan like myself, you make it easy for me to root for you. Keep it up, don't stop making videos, let's go Browns and let's hope your channel grows even more!
When he’s the head coach at Nebraska with all those program dollars behind them ; Arkansas might want to make sure that they don’t play Nebraska for the next 15 years.
@@notoriouseagle1074 Who was implicit in crimes? Completely different than leaving a few teams and POSSIBLY having an affair with his wife, who knows if his wife cared or the girl had a boyfriend / fiancee that cared.
If Louisville was stupid enough/desperate enough to hire the likes of Petrino and Petino as their head coaches, then they deserve everything that is about to (hopefully) happen to them ...
Born and raised in Fayetteville (that's where the university of Arkansas is) and I promise you that Bobby Petrino is public enemy #1. Wouldn't be surprised if he got hurt if he ever showed his face around here.
Petrino ain't enemy #1 half the damn state would take him back since he got Arkansas to #3 and he was on his way to getting Arkansas to #1 if it wasnt for the scandal. Since Arkansas's National Championship win doesnt count that is the highest rank Arkansas has ever had on paper and for the books.
While all this is going on I'm wondering, why don't any of the teams he deserted try suing him. He had contracts with each of them I'm sure they can get something out of him.
Is it really that bad how he left the Falcons? as the players said he didn't have a good relationship with the players in the NFL and they were glad he was gone it was the best for both parties. Also didn't Nick Saban do the same thing to the Dolphins.
You don't shake your bosses hand, tell him to tell the media you're staying, and then leave that night. Grow a fucking pair. It's clear Petrino has a hard time dealing with anything slightly uncomfortable or confrontational, so better just to constantly lie about everything.
