For $40,000 there should be a decent mattress and cover over the raw wood.. I love all the windows. and beautiful cabinets.

I've never seen this small of a travel trailer have that big of a pantry and wardrobe space! The only thing I would change on this would be to take out that drawer under the fridge and put in a larger fridge, or replace the existing fridge/freezer with just a fridge of the same size and put in a small drawer freezer where that drawer is.

We looked at one of those a few years ago, possibly just before covid. I can tell you the ply they used before was WAY better than it appears in this video. It is a good design, especially for us because we are 5'6" and packs a punch for it's size.

There's a lot to like about this large teardrop. I agree with another about losing the drawer beneath the fridge, allowing for a larger fridge. Then yes, there's the changing mattress out. Nice, though.

Someone finally figured out how to adjust the screen on your door without having to open it and still have a screen door. Beautiful cabinetry. Putting a thicker mattress on the bed may make it difficult to fit your feet under that cabinet.

We had an RPod which was basically a tear drop and you could stand in it. Ours was a 2019 and they weren’t doing stuff like the tinted windows and the window on the door. Love the way the AC could be adjusted. That crazy big 13,500 BTU unit sounded more like a fighter jet getting ready to take off. I put earplugs in more times than not. That much noise got on my nerves and it was one of the things about the unit that I hated. Really impressed by this unit. Price tag isn’t very impressive when you think you think of the fact that that kind of money would go towards a much bigger unit. But for what it is the setup is great. I would put a regular residential mattress on that bed along with something to keep any moisture away. That flimsy thing would break my back. But it’s definitely impressive. Smaller isn’t always better!

I've never really considered a small trailer, but this is great.

I notice in your our videos that you mention cubby storage next to the bed that is adjacent to a 110v outlet. The reason they do that is for (mostly older) people that use CPAP devices or portable oxygen concentrators that need to be powered by 110v from the inverter, about 70 watts. It would be useful to have a foam prop that you could fit in there and say “this will fit the size of a common CPAp device or oxygen concentrator and it is powered by the battery inverter”. That can be a make or break design feature for people that use those devices.

Well I live in England and I am six feet four but amazingly enough this is fantastic love the over all height and Interior and the toilet with shower beautifully done 👍❤

Would this be viable for living in? I travel for work and stay in places for 3 month increments, sometimes longer. Would be nice to stop paying steep airbnb prices lol. I drive a gladiator, so 4500 lbs towing cap is my limit. Thanks!

I must say I just love your comprehensive review on all your trailers! Well done! I really like this trailer but was very disappointed in the frame being rusted (I saw it when you were showing the underbelly) will need to do more research before buying. ❤️🇨🇦

Full shower door is needed. Current door will cause condensation from showering throughout trailer. Larger fridge using open storage area above which is useless. The poor quality of the mattress and the raw wood beneath w/b a deal breaker unless replaced for higher quality/thicker mattress and finished wood at no additional cost.

Nice video and nice teardrop camper... I'd also lose the drawer under the fridge and put a bigger fridge/freezer... and a microwave with a vent for when cooking... and for me I'd get a waterproof cover made to easily clean for when I shower... other than that I can see myself purchasing this 💯

You probably won't see this comment because there are so many other comments out there, amazing ones, if you see this though I think you should make a youtube short, were, every day you check the comments, and see what people want in rvs in the future,. Hope you see this! :) I said this because I have a lot of things I want to say about possible changes for different types of rvs! Its hard sometimes to find someones ONE certain comment, so I think making the youtube short could help so you can ansqer many other people ideas or questions faster! I think this will help both you, and other people too!! ❤ :)

This reminds me of the Terra, imo this unit is worth consideration, the layout is for 3 adults 2 dogs or 2 adults 2 kids 2 dogs, it’s a nice camper trailer, A++

does that panel under the bed go through to the outside storge? if so, it may be cold because there is nothing between the cold in the pass through and the underside of the bed, leaching all that cold air up to you! just a thought.

Gotta admit, this is pretty darn sweet! Great price too, it seems not that long ago the prices were skyrocketing back like 2-3 years ago? Travel trailers that is. 20:08 Small solar setup, but probably just enough to keep the lights and fridge going. Plenty of room to expand though, wonder what the battery capacity is. It really is a great price for what you get! It's great that you're tall, able to get your camera high enough to see it all, may I ask, what are you filming with? DJI Osmo? I'm amazed by the quality of these micro sized cameras. I would love to get one of these but I doubt it'll do well up in the great white north lol. Certainly would have to make some modifications. I love it! I’ve been looking at a class B but this could probably be towed with an SUV.

Great looking trailer but I would like not to have all these electrical controls crammed on a side of kitchen cabinet. Counter space is always limited in travel trailers, especially small ones so everyone is adding collapsable shelf in that exact location of the cabinet. All these sensors and knobs make it impossible to add brackets and shelf. Shelf when folded down will block the access and amount of sensors there make it impossible to add brackets. 2nd thing is why are all these bathroom doors so short. That is zero privacy plus all the moisture entering inside the living space. I have 17 ft trailer and door is thin but fully covering bathroom entrance. Fan is going when bathroom in use. That totally confuses me.

I appreciate your camper reviews. However, I don’t understand teardrop design that cuts into precious space. Box trucks and cargo trailers are simple boxes that utilize max cubic space. Why not just add a foil or curved wing to the roof of the wind side of a box camper?

I have looked at both the little guy and the tab400. My only problem with the LG is the glass bath/shower door. No privacy should you have a guest.

After seeing what this little guy has to offer... and knowing the price of lumber has gone down quite a bit.. contracters get bigger discounts when they buy in bulk. What justifies the price point? I've seen people build very similar trailers with a very good electrical system including solar for less than 12k which included purchasing the bare bones trailer.

Nice camper. I just wish these companies would put out a fair price, and stop will all the "$9,000 discount" garbage. Just give people a reasonable price and stop will all the gimmicks. One thing is for sure. No company is legitimately knocking almost 10k off their products. :)

That's not "solid wood". It's PLYWOOD.

The only problem with this camper is the cubby in the bed area is too low for you to replace the mattress and to get a comfortable thickness is the bottom of that cubby so the length is an illusion and waisted space. Either build a cubby that goes all the way to the bed frame or get rid of it bc it’s ridiculous that anyone needs to renovate a built in on a 40k camper when you know that mattress is unacceptable and will have to be replaced by the future owner.

Could there be a couple recliners or theater seating instead of a dinette?

I have a 2020. Looks good. I can’t begin to tell you how dissatisfied, for the price, they are.

Watching this video has made me think that the same designer made all the choices for the interior. Wonderful dove tailed work on the cabinets and the solid hardwood shelving is excellent with a good sized bedroom. The downside(s)? It makes me think that the designer doesn't do much, if any, days long camping if they can seriously outfit this teardrop with such an inferior mattress. Perhaps, in the future, whomever designs the next generation of teardrops that they use a superior mattress that lifts up for easier storage. AND have a long, slender 2 burner stove so there will be some sort of counter top in the kitchen area because I see nowhere to place a coffee pot or toaster anywhere with ease. Not too keen on the frosted bathroom door but the shortened height would allow for water to evaporate quite quickly. One more thing - the living room/dinette needs a rethink in cushions. They look tacky, they don't look like they have much cushioning and there are no cushions in the rear to support your back while sitting. It just looks like a badly thought out futon bed. For that current price this teardrop would be a "No" from me.

Most families have at least two kids. You need to fix that issue.

Great video and nice trailer. However, it's like a Hilton Hotel product: great room, crappy shower. In this case, it is bad bedding. They could have gone with a better product but didn't. The manufacturer decided to skimp. Hello Hilton shower!

I would proceed with caution as this company has had to downsize considerably. Check their website for more information. Who knows if they'll be around in a year.

No thank you. I don't know why they insist on using see thru doors on the bathroom doors in these campers. Dumb idea. I don't want to see someone on the toilet and don't want to be seen on it either. I definitely could see you when you stepped in the shower and closed the door.

Nice camper, but it's not all solid wood. Plywood is not considered "solid".

A teardrop has the shape for aero and for the rear kitchen…if you’re going this big, why wouldn’t you just make it squared off? Cheaper to build, more room, and the kitchen is inside anyway…
