When my mom died, my dad asked us , his daughters to help him clean the house. He wanted us to keep what we wanted and then give everything else away. He wanted to do it before it would be too hard for him to do. We did it. I know my mom would have liked that. It helped my dad too. Of course, he was never the same. He never slept in their bedroom again. He used it as storage. He passed away 2 years ago. He missed my mom so much. I’m sure it was a beautiful reunion. Weird thing is that my mom passed away on 7/1/2011 and my dad passed away on 1/7/2022. Weird huh? Anyway, thank you for helping your mom with the closet. I’m sure it’s hard on her. I love your hauls. Thank you for being a kind and great human being! God bless you always.

I did a challenge in July that might help you get started. On July 1st, I got rid of one item. On the 2nd, I got rid of two items...by the end of the month, that's over 400 things! I didn't stay strict with myself, because on day 3, I got excited and got rid of like 16 pairs of shoes. But, the challenge kept me on track, with making me look at things, and decide if they could go. It was easy to start, knowing I only had to make one decision. Each passing day got easier and easier. Good luck! If I lived closer, I would love to come help you and listen to stories about your mom and dad.

I loved your thumb nail .The neon greens, and if I'm going to like a Medusa it is this modern friend of aliens. In bright tropical colors and roses in her hair. Her shades are lush. I totally question, "what did customs think of this ginormous bag?". Its practically the size of the Hindinberg, and look how that turned out. I was only 21 minutes in when I started writing my comments. So now i'm worn out. I understand your heightened emotions. you know what? YOU KNOW WHAT? Your dad is so proud of how you continually step up to the plate and be the rock for the family. He sees your need for more space. He no longer has a need for any material goods. When you blow out like that it is actually a breathing exercises that we all do without knowing to get rid of stress... I was watching a lady show how different breathing helps with different things in our body and our body will automatically do it if we are being overwhelmed with certain feelings.. It's its way of letting us know we need to chill out and if you want the easiest way to chill out ..take off your shoes, walk in the grass and touch a tree.. The earth will take your stress energy and replace it with new calm energy.. Truth.

Before you get rid of your Dad's clothes look up someone that does memory blankets or pillowcases. You could get the sweatshirts made into items for your family. Maybe a cushion cover for each of your siblings and Mum to have on a bed or couch.

Love those we things. That package is the size of a VW! The closet is like Disney Land to Lokie. Yes, we will unpack the closet with you and give emotional support while you tell us crazy funny stories about life with your parents. Luv ya girl! It's been awhile since I saw Loki. He has really grown a lot. Yes, cats can be mischievous when they are bored! I didn’t clean out my Dads stuff. My sister n law did. I was traumatized by his death. However, my Moms stuff I did. I carried all her clothes and shoes in the trunk of my car for a year. I completely understand. My hearts goes out to you.

Don't push yourself too hard. If you just commit to 15 minutes at a time it will get easier and you can make real progress without serious anxiety. There are people that make quilts out of old tee shirts or sweatshirts. I have seen some of them and they were really nice. That might make a nice keepsake for your family. Big hugs!

Yes I believe in ghosts and other things. I’ve had SO many paranormal experiences: a negative/evil spirit following me home from a Halloween Ghost Tour that tried to get into my body, a ghost cat seen by myself and my boyfriend at the time, orbs, strange lights up on Mt. Shasta, plasma, I’ve heard angels singing on Mt. Shasta, a ghost girl in old fashioned clothing seen by myself and my boyfriend’s daughter, a benevolent tall purple being seen by myself and small sons and babysitter, a purple portal on a wall across from my sons room when they were small, etc., etc., etc.

When I do clean outs like this, I just toss everything out of the room into the next room. Clean the floor and even paint if it needs it and that room probably does. Then I go thru the stuff I pulled out and make sorted piles. Looks like most of that can go. But if you're not sure what items your mom wants to keep put in pile for her to go thru. Or not. 😂 if she hasn't used it in a few years she has forgotten about it. 😊

You could get a box of “earring findings” and/or “necklace findings” from Temu. There are also boxes of different earring backings too. I got those in case I either lose some or want to switch to my fav ones that are the rubber bullet type.

I love coconut cream pie but also German chocolate cake. I can't be one or the other. The background is a seek and find puzzle. Put a spa type scent spray thing in there. Then get to work , throw away bag, donate bag, keep bag. Play music and have an adult beverage. Aww Loki is having a ball in there. He's using it as a jungle gym. He had dust on his tail😂
