As someone who speedruns another game, I've seen many high prize challenges from unknown people not being paid out. I hope for Trackmania's sake that doesn't happen here.
On osu! If you want to put a bounty you need to send the money first (osu! Have a trusted person that handles all the bounty) and then the osu! Bounty will announced it, also bounty can be accumulated.
bloodbath by riot & more is objectively the worst mistake in a line of code in any video game ever created. if you've ever gotten a splinter on your finger, playing this level was like having the entire state of fucking florida being forcibly shoved into my pelvis. if you've ever broken a bone, playing this level was like having your entire fucking body being rammed by a jumbo jet plummeting to the ground. if you think that you have ever despised a level you've played or attempted with every living cell in your body, i'm telling you, it is nowhere NEAR as close as to how much i absolutely fucking abhor this ungodly and satanic failed abortion of a level. every attempt form 0 felt like another bucketful of rectal blood-soaked diarrhea and vomit being forced down my throat. every death at michigun or past it was like having all of a venomous snake's fangs being shoved up my urethra extremely slowly, and dying at gboy 14 fucking times felt like a demented surgeon vertically tearing through your abdomen without anesthesia every single time. during the endless amount of attempts and play sessions and tears from me breaking down on the level constantly, my body was possessed by the unholy spirits and corrupt souls and demons from an endless purgatory, scraping their way into me and causing me extreme aggression, eventually leading to severe damage on the right joystick of my controller. playing this level was the most stressful and most pressure-bearing experience i will ever have, and the agonizing pain and depression this level brought me from playing it every day for hours on end is something i will never likely experience again, since no level could be as bad as this, and wound't cause you to wish to be a disembodied soul, mindlessly wandering the fiery pits of hell, hopelessly waiting for the one day that the universe will cease to exist, and for you to cease to exist as well.the horrific and intense inconsistency i withstood while painstakingly playing this level with the worst input delay imaginable on my controller (which is why i had to switch to mouse) gave me a nagging urge to off myself with a fork and an electrical outlet while stabbing my left and right testicles with two freshly sharpened pencils. michigun's part made me want to punch a hole through my computer, and crack's made me want to jump off the empire state building. every transition in this level felt like it was made by a special needs class trying to make a decent level while blindfolded while on medications. overall, i think every participant in this level is a kid from a special needs class.
It's a remix of Green Greens from Kirby's Dream Land. The closest I can find to that, which I can't promise is exactly the same, is the orchestral arrangement that Nintendo put out for Melee, but it's not exactly the same. I'll keep looking! Edit: it's the SSB Ultimate version of the Melee orchestration, starts at about 1:15 in. Hope that helps! :)
Today I reached the achievement "if everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough" for completing 1 000 stages in Art of Rally *and* got my first top 10 time and a 5th best time in the world which is the best I've done. After all that I've come to a conclusion, a pro tip for hunting a map. Don't take bad starts. I've had runs where I had a bad start but later in I accidentally drove a section very well putting me well ahead of my PB. I now know to not finish those runs. The reason is all to do with reset efficiency. If your PB ghost has a good start, you'll constantly know how well your run is going by comparing yourself to the ghost. If you fall off the pace, reset the run. On the contrary, if you take every bad start and happen to have a great ending, when hunting the map further you will not know how well your run is doing until the point where you did well. In practise, against a ghost with a good start, if your start or any other moment is sub-optimal, you'll get instant feedback and can reset immediately. If your PB ghost has a bad start, the ghost will fall behind and you won't get feedback on your run so only at the end you will know whether the run was good or bad. This is the difference between resetting a bad run early VS resetting it late and in the long term, this will have a major impact on your reset efficiency and will be the difference between many attempts and few attempts.
That’s the exact opposite advice that every pro player gives. More runs later into the level allows you to improve every part of the run, not just the start.
"it has been 10 minutes, you are doubting me in a competition that lasts 46 days..." uploaded in dec 10 2023, so the stream is on roughly November 16, 2023 so 24 days of difference. 6 days later this same channel uploads video titled This Simple Trackmania Trial Almost Made Me Insane.. and in that video wirtual refrences video titled: I speedran every Trackmania Achievement which was uploaded in Feb 22, 2023 by saying: "Did you guys like the all achievements video that we posted today?" that was posted 315 days prior to this channel... what is this schedule even lol.
Doesnt make sense. The map is simply terrible - zero scenery and the route of a first-time mapper Either he truly pays the 5k because he wants to support the game as he loves watching competition and content (which i hope, as that would make him a great person and give him great karma) Or he is simply a trolling kid, gaining literally nothing from it Either way, we'll see i guess haha
