Taking a tower from Sylas made it harder for him to push the wave into TF, making it harder for him to build a lead. You gave the team gold and opened up midlane jungling though, so technically it was a good play. However, some people just can't work around an open lane.
ZZ'Rot Portal was a push item. It made you summon voidgrubs every couple second, basically adding a minion to every, or every other, wave. That item was broken as fuck. XD Loved it though.
@@Dyanosis It was broken enough for Riot to remove it entirely after reworking it twice. I really don't have enough meta knowledge about the game to argue whether that was justified or not. ^^".
@@QueenTheCossackTongued I don't want to insult Dyanosis, but yes, this. Just because you could easily deal with it in a bronze game, doesn't mean it was easy if everyone is at the same level of play. If you have good team play, or Diamond-level map awareness, you can bait a person into dropping waves or going into the enemy jungle, where they can be easily kiled, because they're way out of position. The item forced the enemy to react to it or be perma-pushed, which is a huge advantage for any player who knows how to use it. Basically it's all Rick is doing, too.
There was no guarantee that Sylas was gonna get all the plates, if enemy jungle ganked him enough he could have fallen behind. Taking mid tower also means you have prio for every single objective if you push waves, and Sylas was free to roam botlane against TF
I wish riot would bring back Banner of Command and other similar items, make the game more interesting and open to other playstyles, it has been for years just; 0 macro pick Yone or something get kills and 1v9, no thought involved.

I meant to say 100 years unfortunately when I downloaded the stream file it was only 720p :/ I think I have to wait a long time for yt to process the whole stream to 1080
