MY learning is that, Abraham had many questions, sleepless nights, wild thoughts BUT he TRUSTED GOD and that is the spirit of man of faith. If he had no questions and challenges, he would not have been regarded a father. TRUST GOD in the DECISIONS YOU TAKE AND HE WILL DELIVER. AMEN
GOD I NEED YOU EVERY SECOND IN MY LIFE . I FEEL YOU INSIDE MY HEART. I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU. MAKE ME AND MY FAMILLY ,FRIENDS,ALL KIDS FROM ALL THE WORLD AND PEOPLE I DONT KNOW HEALTH AND KNOW YOUR LOVE . WE NEED YOU.AMEN
Can you imagine how that must have hurt Abraham? He was so good and obediently faithful to God! I love God, but I wish I had stronger faith. God please forgive me for being a weak sinner and a let down to you 😢💔 xx
@@ez450 jews also dont celebrate it. if we wanted to celebrate every event then the whole year would be a holiday. we remember the story as strong faith.
Wem I was a child I had a dream a deep voice telling me to pray and the voice I'm listening to now is the Same voice I heard years ago in my sleep Almighty is real Amen
Imagine if a man today in 2023 proclaimed "God almighty came to me in a vision and told me to build an alter... trick my first born into helping me build the alter...kidnap and BLOOD SACRIFICE HIM against his will to APPEASE him and prove that i am ride or die". That man would be instantly jailed and sedated, charged with Schizophrenia, child neglect, child abuse, kidnapping, attempted 1st degree murder, & SEVERE MENTAL ILLNESS.
@@jabcaan : That's why God said a fool would say there is no God. Even though all of His creations are visible and witness everywhere. Such as the great lay out and system of your body, all amazing food you eat everyday, animal, sun ,moon you name it. You still say God doesn't exist. It shows how foolish you are. This doesn't need deep wisdom to know. Just look! Your spiritual eyes are completely blind. Wake up man!
@@jabcaan : Another thing is you can mock God all you want. It doesn't change the truth of His existence. But if you continue doing it , you will deal with His wrath on your own. Jesus loves you . He dies for you sin ,regardless of how sinful you are.
@@servantofjesus62 I say he doesn't exist because there is no evidence of his existence whatsoever. Literally not a single thing. And a 2000 thousand year old book saying he is doesn't really cut it, now does it. I am sorry but if we as a society continue to believe things without evidence we are doomed. This kind of blind following of other people is just mental
That sacrifice wasn't ISAAC the sacrifice was ISMAEL. Isaac was not the first SON OF IBRAHIM. But ISMAEL WAS. Sarah ( Ibrahim's first wife) was barren, at that time. (Genesis 16:11) " And the angel of the Lord said to her, “Now you have conceived and shall bear a son; you shall call him Ishmael, for the Lord has given heed to your affliction. (Genesis 16 ) " [ The Birth of Ishmael ] Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, bore him no children. She had an Egyptian slave-girl whose name was Hagar, and Sarai said to Abram, “You see that the Lord has prevented me from bearing children; go in to my slave-girl; it may be that I shall obtain children by her.” And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai. So, after Abram had lived ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her slave-girl, and gave her to her husband Abram as a wife. ... It's ISMAEL who was at PLACE where the WELL of WATER and that WATER is called ZAM ZAM water till today. According to the bible. BIBLE (GENESIS 21:15-19) It says " When the water in the skin was gone, she ("Hagar" mother of ISMAEL ) cast the child under one of the bushes. 16. Then she went, and sat down over against him a good way off, about the distance of a bowshot; for she said "Let me not look upon the death of the child," And as she sat over against him, the child lifted up his voice and wept. 17. And God heard the voice of the lad; and angel of God called to Hangar from heaven, and said to her, What troubles you, Hagar? Fear not; for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. 18. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him fast with your hand; FOR I WILL MAKE HIM A GREAT NATION " 19. Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a WELL OF WATER; and she went, filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink.
@@ez450 dont u see abraham tried to sacrifice issac not ismael...as ur quran says...further we christians believe that the grace of god achieved by faith and not by good works....quran is nothing but copy paste of bible (old &new testament) with serious mistakes,,,like the story of abraham sacrificing ismael
Vishal Damai you’re not answering my question hmm 🤔. Yes we as a muslim also believe that one’s that enter the heaven by the blessing of Allah not just our good deeds. Proof that he is a messenger has been written in the gospel(Jesus pbuh). God never dies/being crucified, how can a god dead?. Jesus pbuh did not crucified, Allah the almighty god saved him the man that being crucified is not Jesus pbuh. Yes Jesus pbuh give life to the death and cure blind people with the help of Allah. We speak of Abraham's faith but we forget Isaac's obedience to his father. He gave himself over to his father without fight or argument. Like a lamb he was led to the slaughter. Truly a wonderful story of love, obedience and faith.
Why you don't hang on a cross for your own sin. Instead you expect that SOME ONE else need to die for your sin ? Even Jews never believe such theory. This is not grace . This is murder , horror , sin , stupidity and hypcricy . God needs BLOOD to forgive you . Was he a wampire or Devil ? Why he couldnt forgive you from your Good action ?
@@Avastidas God couldn't just forgive us without blood being shed simply because He is just. It is written: the outcome of sin is death. And we all have sinned. No man or woman that has ever walked in this earth was ever sinless but the son of God. So what do we deserve? Eternal death. It is no one's fault, but our own. Because God is just and doesn't lie, He can't just ignore what He has established since the beginning of time and let us get away with it. This is why in the old testament they offered animals in sacrifice. They chose the best lamb, one that didn't have any flaw of any kind, and offered it in sacrifice for their sins. But lambs don't really know what's going on, right? So God wasn't fully pleased with sacrificing lambs, and the Jews always had to keep renewing their sacrifices because it still wasn't perfect. And that was when God, in an act of love that was never seen before, gave His only son, His perfect, sinless son to be the perfect sacrifice, so that me, you and everyone else that came before us and will come after us have a chance to live with Him for all eternity. God doesn't want anyone to die the second death, which is eternity in hell. He is not satisfied with not a single soul that is lost. That was never what He wanted! But He was angry at us, because we have sinned against Him, and as I've said, He had a rule, and, you know, He doesn't break rules. So this is where Jesus comes in the picture. Just imagine this: you live in a town where everyone else has a fatal disease. They are sick just because they chose to not take care and did whatever they wanted. But you are the parent of a perfectly healthy child. The only healthy person in the town. Your son's blood is the only way the doctors can make a vaccine and save everyone else. Would you give your son, your only perfect, innocent son, to save people that were disobedient and were going to perish because they *deserved* to? And imagine that his death would be the most terrible, painful death ever. And the people from this town made fun of him, spat on him, cursed him, gave him a crown of thorns, and nailed him up on a cross for a whole day. *God went through that because he is good!* Jesus' only purpose in this earth was to die. His perfect and sinless blood was the only thing enough to satisfy the "rule". Jesus' blood in that cross has the power to wash away any sin! He has washed mine, and he wants to wash away yours too! Believe me, God loves you! Jesus has his arms wide open and he is calling "children, come to me! Don't you realize? I died for you, so you can live with me forever! You just have to turn to me and ask!". Talk to God. Tell Him you understand the sacrifice of Jesus. Tell Him you want Him to talk to you too, and make you understand His word. Tell Him you are sorry for your sins. He wants you. And you don't even have to pay any price, for Jesus thought of you and paid the full price for you. I love you and I'll be praying for you! :)
Oh living God supreme soul incorporeal invisible shining light hug me yours faithfully sincerely all Christ family souls..I will remembering you more then ever before.. AMEN
Abraham is a father of FAITH. God whatever i am facing in this world....be with me..give me faith...with the help of YOU i can do all those things. Love you Jesus.....I am very lucky to worship a living god.....
Oh Jehovah.. I've heard and learn about this story in the bible, but just now when i watch this video, i can feel the feeling that i've never feel befor. So touching and i'm spechless
It's so easy to assume negative intent, whether on the part of a person posting a comment or even on God. Of course, God knew how Abraham would respond, but I believe the point of the story is that God knew that Abraham needed to know how he (Abraham) would respond. It makes sense, if you think about it. Abram and Sarai were old, well past the years of childbearing, yet God promised them a son, through whom there would be a people whose number would be as the number of stars in the sky. It was a covenant promise. To hear God ask to, literally, 'lay down his Isaac' would have been unbearably difficult. Yet, it was the one thing that proved to Abraham that he would obey God no matter the cost. I can imagine it was an emotional struggle for Abraham, and we don't know the conversation he had with his son, who was old enough to carry the large bundle of wood for the fire, and could have gotten the upper hand with his quite elderly father if he (Isaac) had wanted to (which tells me that this was a faith trial for him as well, one in which he passed), but we do know a few things from the total biblical story: 1) God never condoned human sacrifice, for that was a pagan ritual, and 2) we learn in the Book of Hebrews, in the 'hall of faith' chapter, that Abraham knew that if Isaac was sacrificed, God was well able to resurrect him, and that at a time when, as far as we know, no one had ever been raised from the dead. My point is that God knew Abraham needed this heart/faith trial, and while Abraham was an imperfect man, and Isaac grew up to be an imperfect man, each had to have his own faith trials, all allowed to strengthen his personal relationship with their Heavenly Father. It is the same for each person who believes. It's okay if someone doesn't understand. I cannot choose for anyone other than myself. I have chosen to follow God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, and while I first chose Him nearly 50 years ago, each day I continue to choose to follow Him. I'm not responding to stir the pot, or start a debate. Just sharing a little that I've learned over the years. :)
I think he wanted to make sure that Abraham would sacrifice his son so that later God would do it for Abraham's seed u know? and he didn't like sacrificing humans to demons or by a man making the sacrifice but it was his good pleasure to sacrifice his son. Thank you Abraham for your faith and thank U God for Jesus Christ life is not worth living without his love. Peace love and joy to all
If God knew Abraham outcome, then we are not free and Abraham faith would have been empty. Abraham is a powerful example of obedience of man towards God. He chose to obey that makes him an obedient man and unique center au faith in the Old Testament. Remember, he ask Abraham to go away of people knew his entire life again Abraham chose to obey and left. God wants us to be free and responsible of our action. Amen! Peace of The Lord be with every that read this!
I can't even imagine the condition of Abraham's mind from the time when God asked his son to till he lifts his knife apon Issac. Abraham's faith was really great.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
What is eternal life that should be given? John 17:3 Jesus said this is the eternal life that they worship you as only one true God and believe in Jesus as your servant and messenger! Not son bobo
O Jesus, will You still find faith in the earth when You come back to the earth. Please Lord Jesus, I beseech You, give a heart that is quick to obey even if Your command is heart breaking to obey, & a heart full of the Abrahamic kind of faith, & lastly give me the God kind of faith this day.

Jojie George actually we don’t differentiate between Hazrat Ibrahim Hazrat Issac and Hazrat jacob (Yaqoob) and Hazrat Essa (Jesus) they all were messenger of Almighty Allah. But truth is that Hazrat Ismail was sacrificed and He was believer of true Only Allah
Jojie George we Muslim believe in bible that it was sent by Allah but people Chang its commandments Know bible is changed I have read in Quran abou Jesus and Issac
vickie minhas yes Jehovah is the name of the true God I am a Jehovah’s Witness . And study the bible with many people . Jehovah is the true God of Israel’ people in those days and our God forever .... agape love Vickie
He knew God was powerful enough to bring his Son back to life to keep his promise, that’s why Abraham said and not lied to his companions when he said: we will go to the mountain to worship and will return to you afterwards. He would return with his son, and he did. Although it is also true, that he preferred to die one thousand times in place of his son. By the way, a good movie for a false religion of mormons. Every Christian knows that Jesus is the non created God, the Son, and YHVH is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
I'm proud christian b/c always thrusting my Lord. &the Lord never left alone .Jose's is a power. A life of christian. I love joses .&then thanks update the truth of Abrham amen amen amen.
