Welcome to the most fucked up basement you've ever fallen into. Few games today really achieve 'work of art' quality to me, just this game is just beautiful. It's the best game about child abuse you will ever play in your life! The best part of this game to me however, was the absolutely god-like soundtrack that Mr. Danny Baranowsky composed and playing the music was an absolute privlege. It's been a while that I've had to put so much work and labor into a medley, but unlike the insanely technical parts of the Super Meat Boy Medley, the challenge here was preserving the feeling and emotion. Thanks so much everyone and I hope if you have not yet played this game, stop watching this and pick it. It's the best game out right now!

I love the old Binding of Isaac so much, the soundtrack was amazing, the art style was pretty good for such a simple game, I played that game to death. The rebirth has a half decent soundtrack, but not nearly as memorable as the original, the change in the art style was okay but it's a little strange how some things are pixelated and some aren't, But I still plan to play the rebirth just as much as the first one.

Rebirth has a fairly decent soundtrack, but none are as memorable as the Satan theme, or the main title screen from the original. When you walk into that Satan boss fight and the heavy metal guitar starts playing with the dark choir in the back ground, it really gets your blood pumping to fight the master of evil.

***** Yeah, and I get that and all, but I still don't like it. Personally, I think that the memorable melodies and charming/haunting tunes complimented the overall feel of the game, they worked well with it and it was better suited. But that's just my opinion

Wow, this really blew me away. What a beautiful balance between delicate acoustic notes and electric metal. Especially when it transitions, I get goosebumps every time. Your Enmity cover is also amazing, I think these and your absolutely STUNNING Super Meat Boy covers are definitely your best work. You really should make a SMB/TBI cover album, the world NEEDS this. I'd buy it in a heartbeat, I'm sure others would too :D .

@@gokudomatic average binding of isaac player jokes aside, I look at music pretty objectively and from a producer's standpoint, it's not as high quality as Antibirth. Now, I gotta mention that I never played the original game very much. I don't have the same nostalgia for it. So, fair evaluation. Have a good day :)

Revisiting this for the first time in 5 years. As a guy who's overly critical towards anything and everything when it comes to music, i have to say that this is absolutely fantastic. I get goosebumps every time. A performance to perfection. Everything is perfectly balanced. The way you mix and blend the different instruments, acoustic and electric, the transitions, the power, the softness. Absolutely outstanding. Hats off to you, good sir. You are amazing.

Oh man... I remember the first time fighting ??? and the astonishment I felt at 1. How I actually managed to get that far in the game and 2. The realisation of what I was fighting. The music just fits so perfectly with that boss fight, and at the bit when it uses the main motif of the title music (incidentally called "the binding of isaac"), all of this together just sent a shiver of awesomeness (and also horror) down my spine. This guy really just nails all of of the music from this brilliant game.

I know I'm kind of beating a dead horse with this sentiment, but I remember watching this when it came out and how much it meant to me to hear the music from my favorite video game done with such care, passion, musicality, and emotion. Just listened all the way through for the first time in years, and that transition into My Innermost Apocalypse brought back such fond memories that I got a bit misty eyed. My teenage years were absolutely the worst of my life in general, but things like this and people like you are the memories that I look back on fondly. Thanks for making my day, both when I was 16, and today, in the year of Isaac's Mother's lord 2024. I wish you nothing but the best, and keep being awesome my guy 💚

lel the website is down. i think its not going to come out, theres not enough support for it. It'd be redoing the whole thing with slightly improved graphics. There is no market value for this as everybody who already have the game will not buy this. 3DS wont get it cuz of their rules on religious games, not enuf ppl own a VITA, and i dont think this game will sell on consoles. This game's odds of being a successful remake are as thin as hair.

Vincent Beaulieu If you look up to dev blog of the rebirth then you going to see that there's much more: The rebirth's gameplay going to be much better and optimized Coop! There will be new levels! New enemies A lot of good new music The game is not programmed in flash,therefore it will finally not lag on a decent pc A lot of new items, and much much better item combinations But i agree with the console part.

I love how the Medley is like starting up the game and then progressing through it. starts with the basement, then the cellar, then caves, catacombs, depths, necropolis and the final battle with Isaac, then back to the menu after you win the final fight. Really amazing work

A few weeks ago I finished to read the entire Foundation series written by Isaac Asimov, which are 7 books. While I was reading, this was the music I used to hear, and FamilyJules7X this was the perfect soundtrack for the series. I wanted to thank you by recording this version, this made my reading much more immersive and fun. I can't listen to this again and cannot remember of the some parts of the books. Simply AWESOME!
