Very cool song! I'm glad you were touched by it. I feel like the song is talking about temptation. You made some good points about sin. The devil is very clever and uses various methods to try to get a person to take the bate. Thank you for the reminder of the verse that says "Submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." That's such an important verse but so hard to put into practice every day.

@@BudakKuchingBah I've been thinking about what it means in James 4:7 when it says "submit to God". I read the following verse, James 4:8, another familiar one, and I definitely see a correlation between them. I feel like the first part of James 4:8 "Draw near to God" says the same thing as the first part of 4:7 but in a different way. It's about drawing near to God and ultimately surrendering to Him. I believe submission to God is the most important point here. If you try to resist the devil without first submitting to God, you won't get anywhere. It will be a losing battle. If you have any thoughts here, feel free to share.

There's a couple ways to interpret the song. I see it as one of the best analogies of addiction I've ever heard, and my father has been using it in street ministry with great effect

Thank you for taking the time to respond to the song and video. Interesting how your thoughts developed and how things became clear to you sometimes while Stalking. 😁 Based on the video, I thought of a marriage where the man abuses his wife. At first he seems to care for her, but when she dies at the end, he apathetically walks away from her. Like the devil when he has deceived and destroyed people. Thanks for saying "follow your heart" was an April Fool's joke. I was getting worried. 😊 I wish you a richly blessed time by GOD! Your brother in Christ
