The wilderness of Madhya Pradesh hosts one of the most beautiful avian residents in the world, the Indian Paradise Flycatcher. Christened as the state bird of MP in November 2001, it has been a sought-after subject of many birdwatchers and photographers. Manish Shukla, an intrepid bird photographer from the city of Bhopal happened to come across a nest of this beautiful bird and was able to visually document the amazing nesting cycle of this species right from incubation to the chicks fledging to adulthood. The film has been directed and narrated by naturalist and film-maker, Shashank Birla, edited by Shristi Rani, along with additional video and image contributions by Avinash Bhagat, Dipu Karuthedathe, Vipul Saxena and music composed by Rafael Krux.
