I like how creative and imaginative the animators were in this cartoon. I think it has the potential to be turned into a full-length movie about the tower/hotel
A little charmer. I really love cartoons themed like this i.e. every aspect of life is carried out in bird terms. Edward Bok did build a Singing Tower as a bird sanctuary in Florida so it made a great setting for that wonderfully realized bird hotel.
The Bok Tower, also known as the Singing Tower because of the Carillon located therein, is a wonderful place to visit. Nestled in a garden surrounded by orange groves in Lake Wales, Florida, it is truly a delight to marvel in its beauty while listening to the bells that give it its name. The garden that encompasses it is equally wonderful, showcasing a wide variety of plants native to the area. Edward Bok was an immigrant, and he built this tower as a way of saying thanks to the land which gave him so much opportunity. He is buried at the base.
Animator 1: "Do you know what a sparrow looks like?" Animator 2: "I'm pretty sure they look exactly like bluebirds". Animator 1: "Eh, close enough for Mr. and Mrs. Sparrow"
This was shown before both 20th Century Fox live-action films in black-and-white, "Cadet Girl" and "Marry the Boss's Daughter" (both 1941), at a theater near you.
I remember there was a cartoon where a spider had a hotel set up so he would trick flies into getting caught in his web beds to eat them. It's terrifying to watch it now lol
I briefly stepped foot on Florida beach when I was traveling with the Junior Olympics as a child. 2008 or so, I chose living in a tent rather than penthouse in Boca Raton .... as THAT DEVILISH ABUSER OF ME AND MY LOVE "want to touch (be around?) REAL."
Inhale my confusing comment. ;”) 3:04 Just appreciate how snazzy that choirmaster is. 4:37 Holy shit, someone please teach me how to do that- 6:04 Is that even possible, lmao.
Spiritual Goddess, not if you're nobility on Game of Thrones. Maybe royalty and aristocrats and the rest of that hellbound 1% bunch ALL ring bells when they have a baby. How would WE know?
Carly Corday......That is the reason I asked. I have never known bells to be rung when a baby is born.....only at weddings. Does that mean it is not done? Maybe it is in certain parts of the world, but I personally have never heard of it.
