Each video I watch of Taylor Hawkins seeing be the huge talent and presence he was makes me so sad .. it's just not fair. I hope wherever you are sweet man you can see how beloved you are and how your gift of music lives on in all of us. Thank you Taylor for touching so many lives in so many ways. Rock on.....💖🌟

I can’t quit playing this song/video!!! Fricking love it; probably cause the lyrics, the music throughout, but esp. the instrumental only music at the end, just sounded so purely “Taylor-ish”! (If that make any sense!) T & Pat playing together & with T singing alone at the start…it feels magical & golden! I just selfishly want more of his music! Those lyrics are so introspective & honest. I have mad respect for insight like that, but it brings lots of sorrow & despair along with that respect, sadly. Gone too soon! ♾️🦅💔
@@BlacKaori He was referring to Dave being the drummer in a band, then becoming the lead singer. Then the drummer of Dave's band, Taylor, also became a lead singer in a band. He wasn't intentionally speaking on the history of tragedy repeating itself, it just fucking sadly turned out that way
Holy shit had no idea about this song - and LOOK it's the small Gibson electric he got from Norman's Rare Guitars. That guitar riff line sounds like the pre-chorus riff from Something from Nothing (Sonic Highways).

Beautiful song, from a beautiful talent. Gone too soon. Still hurts when I see and hear him. 😞 On an interesting note....that riff was also used in The Foos' "Something From Nothing" on the Sonic Highways lp. Also in the Foos' song "I Should Have Known" off Wasting Light. Wonder which song was >>written
I love Taylor Hawkins (especially this one and range Rover bitch... This one is very reminiscent of "something from nothing" and "I should have known*... Just the guitars... But the lyrics are great
