In 1980s Portland, Oregon, a R/UDAT process was organized to focus on a derelict warehouse district with rampant vacancy and no identity. Today, it has transformed into the “Pearl District,” a neighborhood known worldwide for its vibrant life and unique character. This film captures the Birth of the Pearl from some of the key figures involved in its development.
