The Bittersweet Story of Vengeance 

I actually really liked this story. It was much better than "These are beetles and they do war"

I'm just happy that they gave Vendread a good story. Probably one of the most emotionally invested stories I've come across in Solo

after that feature match im beginning to think farfa is more devoted to dante than trif to electrumite because i actually cant recall the last time trif brought pends to a ycs lol

And the new support continues the lore beyond this point too!

Fun fact: if you send a vendread ritual monster to the grave you can still ritual summon it properly

It’s amazing how this Solo mode not only brings the full story of Vendreads to life but also tricks people into thinking Vendreads are actually playable.

I really love this story, so fucking cool and actually emotional too. It made me want to build a Vendread deck even! ...then I played the loaner duels and decided it was sadly not a good idea lmao

Fun fact: Vendread Battlelord's original OCG name translates to Vendead Bastard. Damn those Japanese people give zero fucks about censordhip and I really like that! You are free to look it up yourself!

They really should have fleshed out all of the stories like this one. And they REALLY need to finish the "World Legacy" arc and work on the Abyss arc!

His tale is like the protagonist of Parasyte having to kill the monster that stole his mother's face.

vendread got support awhile back that actually helps with their lack of search power, allowing for more consistency in the deck, they still die to any form of interruption though

zombies get some of the best stories. I loved the Shiranui story too.

Really hoping to see more support after pote. They seemed to have started a new story thread with scar, hopefully we get support to expand upon it.

its a generic revenge story, but I would watch the hell an animated movie of this Archetype. Imagine a post credit scene saying: Avendread Saviour will come back with HEROES. Then next movie will be about the E-Hero Archetype. 😁

I actually play this deck and it is not at full power due to it missing cards in this solo mode. It would be more playable in Master Duel if they included cards the cards like Scar Vendread, Ravenous Vendread, and Vendread Scavenger. Ah ghoul is also a great generic zombie tech for the deck. Vendread Slayer is one of the deck's best cards. I love the aestethic combination of Resident Evil and Spawn.

If only konami would give the archetype support to make it as good as its lore so it could truly be a happy ending.

Honestly the deck doesn’t struggle. I got to diamond 1 with my zombie ritual deck. You just don’t know how to zombie link climb and extend. Granted pure vendred is ok. But your supposed to combine the zombie archetypes into a 60 card zombie ritual and it actually runs through branded despia and swords soul. 43 win streak in diamond 1.

Konami recently released a searcher for spell/traps for the archetype making it better (not meta or even rogue but better) and for reasons I don’t get those cards aren’t in master duel.

To you this is free content but to me these are the only way I can experience the solo modes. I’m visually impaired and struggle to read cards (luckily this seems to be a normal thing) and just skip the cool lore. This means nothing to most but I was waiting for this video, since this is a hood lore to an otherwise irrelevant deck. Thank you!

I am still so salty that most of vendread monster effect only applied when used on the field. Imagine if their effect applied when used as ritual for vendread monster period, this deck would be more usable.

When "Vendread Daybreak" came to the tcg, I teared up knowing it was the end of his saga. That card art made me feel something when I pulled it in a pack. Really great story, on par with The World Legacy.

My favorite part of the Vendread lore is when Slayer said “it’s vendreading time” and vendreaded over the other vendreads.

I didn't know about this archetype and Ritual monsters aren't really my thing, but it was surprisingly fun. Nice deck, don't think it will ever be meta relevant but if it gets some support I'll consider crafting it.

Revendread Slayer (the ritual monster) is the only ritual spell searcher in this deck now. OCG gave a better spell/trap searcher for this arctype a few months ago. So, it is still a very long time until those cards come to Master Duel. You can link-2 to Avendread Savior to add any Vendread cards from GY, including the spells. . In duel between Executor and Battlelord, I think you get Chaos Ruler there. Milling some cards first is better to get more material for Ritual summon or "indirectly" search for ritual monsters. In standard duel I use Vendread Synchro too, and it will be better if you have Grass and play 60-cards.

Great video. I feel like the only way to generate advantage is to tribut a slayer on field to make another slayer. It feels like a benten search benten interaction just worse

easily one of the better solo modes out there, the music fit really well too also...if the vendread main deck monsters didnt have the "this card on the field" clause...they would've been so much better, maybe not meta, but a legit rouge deck, konami really pulled their punches with this archetype, maybe the quick play banishes were too much for their liking and...what's with the constant title changes?, i think this is the 2nd time this video's title changed

I liked this archetype as I love zombie monsters, but dam this video has just shot them to the top for me, such a great lore video.

This was such a good solo mode gate. I didn't think I'd invest myself in it - but I did. Glad to see others agree.

Hold on, if the vendread are the corpses of people and they have no memory of their past life... that means Revendread slayer is basically slaying innocent people that had lives just like his who don't have any control over themselves. Damn, that makes it so much more tragic.

Vendread is one of my favorite archtypes and i was waiting for a solo mode to drop since the game came out now all i can do is wait for the albaz lore since it contains a lot of other lore like tribrigade dogmatika springans despia swordsoul and many more
