What if the guy who stopped to check on her was actually the guy who abducted her and just told police she ran off. I feel like the witnesses should have been looked into a little more.
@@FinallyIhavecomeback sometimes supects do this especially in cases like this I guarantee you the police have already talked to whom they are looking for.
No because why would he draw attention to himself by becoming a witness i mean it could be to cross themselves off the suspect list but police could easily look into him so why take that risk
It’s interesting that no one stopped. I was driving one time with my mum at 3pm and there was a little girl walking by herself crying. We stopped and asked if she was okay, she said she was lost and didn’t know how to get home. Her baby sitter forgot to pick her up from the bus stop after school. We drove her home as she knew her address, the parents called us later balling their eyes out and said they were so thankful as she could have been taken. Jamberoo (the town) has had kidnappings before of children/teenagers. If you ever see a young child walking alone, please pull over and check if they are okay. (Only if you are a good person)
normally people don’t stop anymore because that’s how people get kidnapped. they force little girls to pretend to be lost then the person that finds the little girl would pull over and people jump the innocent person. it happened to my older cousin but she got luckily away
@@jennacarrick6330 but he did stop and follow to ask her what’s wrong, so obviously it’s not because he thought she was a trap... otherwise it would be safer and more usually to just call the police and tell them what you saw? If I saw this, being a girl I wouldn’t stop for anyone but I would definitely call the police and even exaggerate what I saw to ensure they check it out ASAP. I would even call back later for updates, I feel this is what normal people would do.
Gangs that want to kill or abduct people use children walking alone at strange times to find targets. It’s safer to pull off at the next public place and call the police and maybe holler for the child to walk up ahead to the place you’re going that’s public. I’d try to record a short clip of the child for the police
I agree. So many people trying to make sense of the witness actions that night or lack there of when they should have a more opened minded approach. Seeing a toddler in the street in the daytime is alarming enough for me to stop and investigate why wouldnt a 9 year old girl walking down a highway at 4am in the middle of a storm carrying a bag not torture your concious.
Can't believe the law enforcement tried to put out that Aysha, a precious little child, was a "typical run away" and people wonder why so many young blk women and children go missing. No one looks for our missing
@@JustKelso1993 you wanna know which race of child actually gets the help they deserve when they're missing? *shocked face* it's as if you can use the internet and look this simple answer up before looking like an idi×t.
Amanda Bee it makes you realize how nione is really safe all you can do is prep for the worst case scenario and hope for the best as a mom that terrifies me
I'm not sure if it applies to this case (haven't watched the entire video yet), but sometimes sheltering kids too much can be bad. The kids grow up too naïve, and the moment they aren't under their parents watch (it's inevitable. You can't keep an eye on your kid 100% of the time), they are in serious danger, since they can't identify what's a threat. But I'm not a mother, I can't say it with property...
yea you gotta let them learn. but the fact you can have such good intentions and think your doing your best and still have this happen is scary as a mom
Is a fine line between keeping your kids safe but also aware enough so that they know how to react in certain situations or not expose themselves to things that might be dangerous
Audrey McDonald this is such a good point, i don’t think anyone thought of this. what is great about bringing awareness of cases like this is information like you just gave.
If she was sleep walking it is possible that she was dreaming of getting ready for school since she got dressed grabbed her backpack and was walking her bus route
@@XXOVXXO__ I know someone who was bragging about beating their 15 yr old daughter while sleepwalking, now they are saying their daughter knows not to wake her mother up when sleepwalking, like that makes a mother, an adult not responsible for keeping a minor safe from being abused, even after the mother knows a minor could be in danger of being abused by her She was saying she also drives the car while sleepwalking/driving which is total BS.
@@XXOVXXO__ right because if she was sleep walking , IMO why would she react to that man stopping her and asking if she was okay, I understand sometimes when people sleep walk they get scared when disturbed , but I doubt she slept walk for almost 5 miles !! I could be wrong but the sleep walking theory does not sit right with me
Several people seeing something off and not calling is unfortunately so common-by stander effect. People think “oh I’m sure someone else has called law enforcement” and so they don’t call themselves. This is just a friendly urge to all fellow viewers of these videos to please, please call if you see something that seems off. It could save a life! We’d all want someone to call for us if we were in danger ❤️
I'm a snitch, so I call the police about ANYTHING suspicious that I see. This one time, there was a teenage boy walking down my street opening people's unlocked cars and trunks and taking things. I called the cops and they never showed up...
Living in NYC, I'll rather be annoying and call 911and have it turn out it's nothing than find out later I witnessed something I could've possibly stopped.
I really appreciate you not only posting every day, but posting lengthy and detailed videos each day. You're doing justice to these cases, not just rushing out content
I just thank you for covering the story of a missing black child. In the US their stories are rarely covered by the media and if it is it's done it's done in short clips buried in ridiculous stories rather than headline news which is why black social media outlets and influencers have to cover the stories.
RU-vid Is life Yes REALLY!!! Oh, and let's address 19:49 excuse me, but what tv shows (none of the three were news programs, not the media) did she mention? And of those mentioned were two of the biggest talk shows at the time she mentioned and wait for it....hosted by what? ....A black person. And Americas Most Wanted (which also isn't a news program) was petitioned to do the story by those two black tv show hosts and the black community. So you just further proved my point.
Ashlynne Biggs You can feel comfortable saying, "chill out" when you're a priority not a forced after thought. No, it's not always about race but in this case what I stated is facts. Stories of missing black children aren't covered the same way (if at all) the way missing white children are covered. Period. It's a fact. There even had to be a special tv show created to ensure that black missing children get attention. It doesn't take much effort to find the facts.
Who on earth sees a young girl walking alone down a highway and not call police??? Who asks if she’s okay and realizes she’s terrified and doesn’t call police immediately?!?! I think the guy that turned around is guilty! Or, It’s possible in a sleepwalking state she thought it was time for school and took off on foot.
Not Applicable Yeah, the iPhones and RU-vid haven’t existed yet in the early 2000s. The internet usage & users was pretty much way lower back then could be that.
I live in the town this happened in. It’s heartbreaking. A nurse that looked like her got questioned for being her a few years ago, she denied everything and then was never seen again. Maybe she’s still alive. We can only hope. ❤️
She’s 9 why would she just plan to leave her parents house at 2 in the morning especially if she was terrified of the dark and scared of storms ? This makes no sense did her father really see her in her bed at 2am? did the person who basically had to U turn 3 times just let her run off just like that? Why was her bag found in 2 garbage bags? Why was her stuff found in that lady’s shed ? Why was all the doors in her house locked by she was outside ? Did she have a key ? Something’s off
1. She left at 4 am, not 2 am. 2. People fake fears and phobias very often. When I ran away when I was 10, I pretended to be afraid of loud noises, and bright lights, and I wasn't found for 8 days. (theory) 3. The man probably didn't think it was a little girl, but then when he realized it was, he had to U-turn a few times to catch up to her. (theory) 4. There could've been some sort of liquid in the bag that someone/Asha didn't want to leak, so they put it in 2 bags (theory) 5. She probably stopped there for a while to get out of the storm, like Bella said. 6. She probably didn't have a key. Lots of kids don't.
bella, theres been new clue to this case! please share them to get the word out!! police are now looking for people who owned a specific book and t shirt in the area. a dr. seuss book and a new kids on the block t shirt!! police didn't say why but they believe it could be useful. anything helps!
There was also a Ford Thunderbird recorded by the FBI and Authorites as a possible lead, well car that Asha was seen getting into..... This was released as new information in 2016 or 2018???
My theory: She was sleepwalking. She gets up randomly in the middle of the night puts clothes on packs her bag and leaves she house and begins walking the route to her bus stop as if she is going to school. Someone pulls along side her asks if she is okay, this wakes her up and scares her, she panics and runs away. From there maybe she wandered around to the point where she couldn't be found or maybe she was abducted/hit by a car etc.
@@aminahh9023 I know it does sound a bit extreme but I have heard stories about people doing some bizarre stuff while sleepwalking including following normal morning routines such as making breakfast, getting ready for school etc. I agree it is strange to think someone could sleepwalk like that but I don't think it is out of the realm of possibility, it's a strange case overall.
@@kadehanley7639 Yes, the ex-girlfriend of my boyfriend was actually a sleep-walker. He catched her once cooking spaghetti in the middle of the night or showering with clothes on, and in the mornings she often had little stones from the pathway in her bed which meant, that she had to be outside at night.. I think that that was a severe case, but such things can happen! 🙈
When my daughter was 8 years old she had been in bed for a couple hours already and we were watching tv when she comes out of her bedroom, walks to the front door trying to open it and I said what are you doing? She didn’t answer me but was still trying to open the door. My sister says I think she’s sleep walking. I led her back to her room and put her back to bed. I’m so grateful that my sister stopped by otherwise I probably would’ve been in bed too and she might’ve walked out the door. We got a security system after that and would be alerted if a door or window opened up.
Basically to sum it all up they where protesting and Got in a bus and disappeared. Some people say that the bus was hijacked but the biggest theory (which i believe) because it makes more sense is that the Mexican government killed them purposely. For the sleep walking theory maybe she thought she was walking to school that’s why she had her backpack and was changed 👀 like maybe her brain was making her think she had to go to school
'm not sure , but dont sleep walkers sleep walk often? or there hasnt been any studies into this. Like one night at 3 am, she decides to get up get clothes, pack them and walk THAT far? idk..
One time when I was young I actually got up, and started changing my socks and all to go to school, I remember as if it was a dream, but all of a sudden I just stopped and got into bed again. My sister confirmed it to me the next morning and she was so creeped out. This theory is actually plausible.
I wasn’t born yet, but I live where this happened. They still have billboards with Asha’s face. They’re still looking for her (also, you pronounced “Waco” correctly)!
*Im from North Carolina and I was young when Asha disappearance took place, but I do remember how much it effected my mother....She was really concerned about her!! I didn’t realize it until I got a little older, but I then realized that Asha reminded my mother of my sister!! My sister and Asha was around the same age, same race, and wore the same hair style....I remember my mother literally prayed for Asha’s return home to her family (Especially her mother)!!*
I once was driving about 11:30 at night, it was cold and there was a young barefoot girl. My boyfriend and I turned around and picked her up. She was running away from her parents house and she was only 9.... she was on the way to her aunts but was walking the wrong way. We took her to her aunts so she would have a safe place to say. The running away theory to me seems the most likely! If we wouldn’t have picked up that little girl who knows who would’ve have. Probably something similar to sweet ms degree....
lizzy k I ran away from my home the first time at 8 years old. Physical/mental abuse. I only lasted half the night because it was cold and raining in NY. My parents didn’t even care or bother to look for me. So that shit about children don’t normally start running away till 12 is crap; on average, maybe, but not always. I absolutely agree with you.
Bella these videos are so informative and clearly so researched! Just wanted to say we all appreciate the lengths you go to to research and film these mysteries. If I ever hear of a case I always check to see if you have a video bc they serve as excellent summaries!!
The driver said that he saw her walking alone, at night, during a storm, she freaked out, and ran into the bush? And the driver didn't go after her or even call the police? Its always said that the criminal often places themselves at the scene of the crime...
There is no way I would ignore a child wandering down a road, alone, at night - Calling to claim concern after the fact, really messed up. A child alone on a road and all those people could do was drive on.
She could've slept walked thinking she was going to school. A friend of mine got up, got undressed, and got in the shower to follow her morning routine all while sleeping in the middle of the night. The girl didn't necessarily pack a bag, everything in her bag could've already been in there from the day before. She was even on the route to school that her bus took. Plus, the fact that she freaked out when the truck driver started talking to her would make sense because if he woke her up, its a normal response from someone sleep walking to freak out and be disoriented. Then I think someone found her along the way. I can't imagine such a young girl leaving with no apparent reason in the middle of the night during a storm without even a jacket!
But if the bag was packed from the school day before, why would she have items clothing in her school bag? Apart from her basketball uniform I think it would be unusual for her to have random items of clothing in her bag unless she packed them purposely knowing she was going to leave. At the same time though, I guess that raises the question of why she didn't take things such as a toothbrush if she intended to leave. Maybe she intended on leaving and coming back? Who knows
I did this when I was younger! I woke up in the middle of the night and went through my morning routine, packed random stuff in my backpack trying to prepare for school, and started walking to my bust stop. I only stopped because my mom heard me and stopped me. She could have waited for her bus thinking it was the morning, then when it didn't come tried to walk to school. Might be unlikely but sleep walking makes you do weird things!
@@stephenbryant5251 , I am 78 years old, not afraid of the dark and would not walk up/down a road alone at that time of day, simply because others, also not afraid of the dark, might be out and about with evil intentions.
I don’t think she was sleep walking. Changing clothes, packing bags, and unlocking doors are quite complex tasks to do when sleep walking. I think she ran away. She had a bag packed with items she thought she would need, even food (candy). Something caused her to want to leave. She probably left early morning knowing no one would be up and she’d be able to sneak out. Why left and what happened after is the real question. Thanks for all your hard work on these videos, Bella! ❤️ UPDATE 2024: I just saw a news article regarding some updates and knew the case sounded familiar. I immediately came here. Hoping the truth will come to light and justice will be served ❤
Hannah Marie I babysat this kid once and she was sleep walking and got up to go to the toilet and unlocked the door and tired to go outside while asleep so it could be possible
You’d be surprised at what one could do while sleepwalking. When my brother was younger, he walked and talked in his sleep. One time, he started walking out the door but luckily our mom stopped him. So it is possible to do those tasks while sleepwalking, but I don’t necessarily think that is the case here.
I personally have woken up in the middle of unlocking a door in my house it actually freakeddd me out soo much 😅😅 ran back to my bed and almost considered chaining myself down haha
I've heard of people doing things as complex as driving successfully from point A to point B while sleepwalking, so I'm not discounting the sleepwalking theory yet. Whether or not Asha did sleepwalk I obviously don't know, but I think it could be possible!
Typically & statistically 9 yr olds don’t run away even if they are abused in some way shape or form. They just don’t have the resources to survive alone. Especially given the fact that they are scared, alone, dark outside, and nowhere to go. Plus she wouldn’t make it, someone would have taken her period. If that was the case where she walked out, someone would still taken advantage of her. If she was safe, she would have been found and returned back home. I also want to point out that she was black, if she would have been white , I really don’t think they would have said a 9 yr old white girl took a stroll in the middle of the night & ran away to nowhere. I believe that girl was most likely murdered & there are so many of them out there sold in sex slavery or murdered and they need justice. This is heartbreaking. I would be so upset if In fact my child was murdered and someone said she ran away for no damn reason.
i think some racist found her and killed her. Not uncommon in America! The way her bag was found is very eerie and suggest foul play. it's almost like the abductor is trying to rub it in the parents families face that yes i've killed your child. I also think that its weird that the investigators withheld evidence from the public/family I feel that they know what may have happened to her (ie racist group killed her) and with held the evidence so not to fuel racial tension.
EXACTLY. I knew it was going to be deemed a runaway as soon as I saw it was a black girl 😡 they couldn’t have given af about this case the way they didn’t investigate the ppl who came forward AFTER the fact and said they ignored a little girl walking down the road at 4am in a storm. Pieces of shit.
My theory is when she left the house, she was walking the road as if she had school but she never checked the time.. so she was earlier than usual. OR MAYBE, she “made” her team lose yesterday (even though it wasn’t her fault” & thought maybe she needs to get to school early to practice. What if when she was walking the car that stopped her & asked was she okay scared her that she ran into the woods and ran so far in she couldn’t find her way out. Maybe somebody else was in the woods & found her & decided to take her unexpectedly... or the driver probably ran after her to help her but accidentally killed her because she was maybe trying to defend herself.. idk🤷🏽♀️
Except she walked the opposite direction from her school. While children are generally not good with directions, the direction of her school in which she rode the bus to and from everyday, is one of the few places that she would know which direction to go.
Woods in the Cleveland County area aren't very dense and usually never more than an acre in total area. If she lived in the Robbinsville area, I'd say that's a good theory. That was where Eric Rudolph hid for 10 years from police for the Atlanta Centennial Park bombing.
This case just stumps me.. There are so many possible theories but not very many probable ones. I really hope that one day this is solved and her parents can have some sort of closure and will be able to grieve her properly
This reminds me of a little bit of when my brother disappeared for a couple of hours. This was in the early 2000 and he was about 5 years old. He claimed to leave the house around 4 or 5 am because we shared a room but our door was removed so he was afraid. So he decided to leave the house and start walking towards my grandfather’s home which was about 10-15 minutes away by car. My youngest sister discovered my brother missing and told my parents who then called the police. There was a search going in the neighborhood but no luck. The police actually thought my parents were the ones who may have something to do with his disappearance. Sometime during my brother’s walk to my grandfather’s house my brother said he was picked up by a couple who found it strange that he was walking in the dark alone. They took him to their apartment and let him sleep and gave him cereal in the morning. They then asked him if he knew where he lived but he didn’t but he did remember how to get to my grandparents house so he was dropped off there. This was super freaky. What if my brother was abducted by a pedophile or a crazy person. Now my brother is 21 and still hates that I bring up this story.
I don't mean to be rude i just don't understand, why did he leave to walk to his grandparents house because he was scared of not having a door? Wouldn't he be more scared of walking on his own in the dark?
@@hellodarknessmyoldfriend4907 Honestly neither do I lol. He was super young. I don't know what he was thinking but he just didn't feel safe in the doorless bedroom.
Excessively sheltered kids can become adept at keeping secrets. I know I was. To this day, there's heaps of things I did against my parent's will that they don't know about, even younger than Asha was. Unfortunately, sheltered kids can also be much more unaware of potential dangers than others--whether it's because the parents are too afraid to tell them about it, or because they haven't developed the social skills to decide if something IS dangerous, or if their parents are just being overprotective. (This is how my sister ended up pregnant, & how my friend ended up stalked by an internet pedophile. If everything is a boogeyman, nothing is.) Maybe someone managed to groom her into sneaking out to a meeting place. I also agree with the theory that, for some reason, she was running away or sleepwalking--and a predator spotted her in the perfect situation to take her. (Middle of the night, dark, no witnesses.) But I think running away is more likely than sleepwalking. Even if you LOVE your family, being sheltered can feel awful, because you're missing out on so much compared to your friends. At her age, it was a HUGE complex of mine, but my parents never knew because I was too afraid to rebel based on it being a sin or upsetting my parents. It's just so odd that she left in the dark in a storm. It makes me think there was someone who was supposed to meet her and help out. This 'someone' may not even be a mysterious predator. It could have been a friend who wanted to go with her, or meet her, but either never showed up, or one of them got lost along the way to the meeting place. This friend may feel horribly guilty for not showing up, or have feared getting in trouble/being blamed. Especially if they also were sheltered. Even to this day, they may feel like it's too late to come forward without looking like a bad person/selfish for waiting so long. It could have even been a friend at school Asha's parents had no idea she had. Not sure who could have groomed her, if that happened instead, but the internet is my main theory. Even in 2000, the boogeyman of cyber predators was a big thing, so if she talked to someone on a school computer (Like I used to do on beanie baby forums, or cartoon fansites,) that could be a reason why her parents never heard of the person--she coulda kept it a secret. I don't think any parent intends to isolate their child or give them a complex by overprotecting them. But the fact is, everyone I know who ended up going wild & ruining various portions of their lives by being unable to control how much of life they chased after, were sheltered kids eager to be free. It's very, very important to be honest with your kids about dangers, but also to trust that they can make good choices, & give them an environment at home to BE honest about their lives without fear of being punished or grounded or having things taken away from them. It kind of teaches kids that if they want to have fun like other kids, they need to lie to their parents. This is a case that always sticks with me, & I always have a place in my heart wondering what happened to Asha. I hope that some day, her family can get the answers they need. This case has apparently never gone cold, even after all these years. That gives me hope that there are threads being connected behind the scenes that will lead to those answers.
and that’s one thing that makes it harder to solve i believe. sheltered kids aren’t that easy to read they’re very to themselves which can be good but in this case it’s not. my sister is a very quiet kid and some of the things she does surprises me so it definitely makes sense. i’m glad you commented this, it helps!
ShakeyMakeup maybe it was a familiar face. Or how the person approached her ? Maybe they asked if she needed a ride or kept following her making her eventually get in the car. There’s a whole lot of trust in the situation if In fact someone did lan on abdicating her because she has no cell phone to talk to the person along the way and share with them her where abouts so maybe the person told her where to meet them and got tired of waiting and started driving and found her walking along the road. I think it’s probably someone from church because if you think about it that same day she got abducted she had went to church. Then she came back and went to sleep later on then woke up early in the morning. Maybe someone from church gave her instructions on what to do.
ShakeyMakeup what if it was her father. it was probably a car they didn’t keep at their house. i saw previous theory’s that her dad abused her sexually. maybe she got into the car wit him because he was so nice?
@@lovelyl5025 I know this years ago but😂😂 I agree kind of if she brought a bag clothes etc I think it was a family or familir face maybe thought she was visiting a house u know the normal, And was tricked and thats how she got abducted
I think she had planned to leave, or thought about leaving so much (from the books), that she became halfway awoken after her dad opened the door to check on them. I think she was in a dream like state running away until the man in the 18 wheeler saw her. After that she woke up fully and realized she was outside in the rain and ran into the shed. After clearing her thoughts and realizing she needed to go back home, she saw Donald Ferguson or another predator and he talked her into getting his car. I think that he pretended he knew her father and mother and he offered to “drive her home”. Then he sexually assaulted and murdered her ORRRRR She shared her thoughts of adventure and running away (inspired by the book) with an adult close to her (teacher, church member, basketball parent/coach, etc.). They convinced her to get up early and come meet them and they’d have adventures. They would have used it as a chance to abduct her.
The only thing that doesn’t make sense about the second theory to me is that how would she know when to wake up( assuming she didn’t have an alarm set otherwise her mom and brother would have heard it) and when and what time to be there?(at the shed) but overall it is a good theory. I just wish we all knew why she left, where she left to and what happened to her.
I think she trusted someone the family knew and agreed to meet them. Despite her mom’s best intentions, you simply cannot protect your child all the time. I had the original helicopter mom, but I still ended up being molested by someone she and my Dad trusted. Thankfully, they never found out. But yeah, I think she was going to meet someone she and her family trusted.
ughhh I felt physically sick when you were listing that guy's string of offences. Whether he did it or not, this is the reason things like this continue to happen. They always get away with it. What a heartbreaking story, I just hope the family find peace no matter how small it is :(
I drive by the huge missing sign almost everyday. That poor girl isn't ever going to be found. Seeing her brother at school from then on was so sad. You could see how much he misses her.
You did a great job on this one Bella despite the lack of evidence and information available. I can’t imagine the suffering her family has endured. Honestly I think I would rather actually have a body and KNOW what happened rather than my young child just disappear never to be seen again. And it is amazing that the people who saw her didn’t get out and hold her and call police. If I a young kid walking alone at odd hours I’m holding you and calling the police unless a parent surfaces. At 3am. Yeah you’re staying with me and we’re going to the police station. And if they run I’d try to go after them because I couldn’t live with myself if something happened to them.
I went to school with Asha and Obrian worked with her family at PPG. Asha was always happy in school very competitive but always happy. I remember the Sundrop guy stated he saw her but keep in mind cellphones werent as huge then, my dad had just got a Mitsubishi cellphone around that time. I pray shes out there alive. Shelby was near casar, my brother was murdered there, a man was found with his head and fingers missing, and a guy we went to school with was murder then cut up in a garage. Meth or some racist issue out near the area. Weird things happened around there.
I’m so so so so sorry for your loss I’m Happy justice was brought to your brother but the loss is still tragic I hope your Okay your brother is watching you from heaven 🥰😚
Ugh this is bothering me how there was a note found in the backpack w her name on it w a number.. did they ever call the number or look into who’s number it is or who used to hav it!!!???
Faith Gaman I was thinking the same thing, because the guy said that he made three circles around her before asking if she was ok. I think that the only reason he made those circles, were because he hit her and was trying to check if she was dead, without getting out of his car.
@finallyihavecomeback They do that so it seems like they care about them missing or to seem like he was worried about her to cover up the truth but he might of not have abducted her.
When you were telling the story, I was keep thinking they should check her books. When I was a kid, I planned many adventures and got into troubles because I really inspired by the books I read. She didn't plan to run out, she thought she is going for a little adventure! You don't think so deeply, or for the far away future. She probably just planned for a small adventure, not fully running away. Then someone saw her and opportunity and took her.. Such a heartbreaking story. Only of one of those 5 witnesses chose to do smt. when they see smt that didn't look right. Please, especially if it is a kid and you feel like smt is wrong, do something. Worse scenario you will be wrong and get embarrassed, still better than a kid getting hurt!
I think something happened in church. Sadly, in my expericene, church is a place where a lot of people live dubble lives. They act all "godly" but in reality they are child predators. Maybe she was sexually abused and this triggered her to runaway... Edit: Also if it was somone from church, they probably used God and religion as a way to groom her
Isadora Barros “they act all godly but really they are child predators”. That is a pretty general and ignorant remark to make. Of course there are horrible people in churches, just like in every other institution created. The problem isn’t necessarily the institution, but the people who disguise themselves within it and take advantage of it. Same goes for creeps in politics or show business or any other thing. But just because a church is mentioned doesn’t automatically connect to an overwhelming possibility of sexual abuse.
Emily Oliveira Her point is right though she also said FROM HER EXPERIENCE so obviously her opinion. It’s not like she’s judging the whole church it’s just a possibility, just like the other comments accusing her family. She’s just trying to help not judge, i think you took it too personal lol.
You are so amazing I LOVE YOU and your channel, particularly these videos. You make amazing efforts to fully research the cases and always report every detail in such a respectful and caring manner. You’re so beautiful and I look up to you so much. I’m so happy I follow you. You’re amazing keep doing great I love you!!
This child lived an hour from me and her book bag found in the town 15 minutes from my town in Morganton,N.C.Those roads and highways are extremely dark and isolated and also lots and lots of woods.I have worried about this case since day one! It's so close to home! I appreciate you doing her story💞
I went to school with her parents and this happened in my town. It was such a scary and sad time. So many people were looking for her. I often think about this case and wonder if they will ever find out what happened to her. There is no closure, just questions.
Bellaaaaaaaa keep these Mystery videos cominggg! Love you and these mysteries💖 their so interesting and you put so much effort into the research you do into these cases❣️ also i love your makeup in this video! Its so fresh and natural, please do a tutorial on it😘
I started running away from home at like 6 or 7 but my home life was rocky. I feel like yeah, she probably left of her own free well but maybe someone was grooming her or put this idea into her head. Maybe they said they'd take her somewhere fun but if she said anything to anyone she couldn't go, something like that.
It’s amazing how you remember so many details and just the whole story in general I see that you love this and are so dedicated to this ! Love your voice sooo soothing
I feel like someone she knew(an older person probably with bad intentions) maybe someone from church or someone she was comfortable with knew about how sheltered she was(she couldn’t use computers, internet, watch certain tv shows and probably more things) and played on that by saying to her “hey if you sneak out in the middle of the night so you don’t get in trouble I will take you to my house and you can use the computer, play games, watch any shows you want and do whatever you want” telling her that they will pick her up in the middle of the night then bring her back before her parents wake and if it was someone she trusted of course she’s gonna take that offer so maybe something like that happened? Not too sure but something bad definitely happened because there is no way she left in the middle of the night into the dark storm which she was afraid of there’s just no way.
this is my theory too. someone she knew definitely planted this idea for her, maybe told her to meet them somewhere gave her directions and was waiting when she got to the spot then maybe took her away or killed her either way i don’t she just left
Loved the facial expression you've made when you talked about the parents not letting the kids watch the news, "I understand but..." sums up my life hahah.
My question is...The guy who asked her if she was okay why wouldn't he go after her ? Or call 911? He made all those U turns to just drop it ? 🤔 he could've also been the one to abduct her.
She's not going to run a million miles per hour he could have caught up to her quickly. The least he could have done is call 911. It's a child! The fear that I would i have running after her wouldn't be anywhere near the fear she had. He took forever to even say that he saw her so he could have been trying to dispose/hide body during that time. There's so many cases where even the one hurting these kids join the search party's in an attempt to make it look like they care. It just bothers me that they didn't look into him further.
This story bothers me more than any other true crime story I can think of. There are so many questions and it's just a tragedy that her family cant even have closure
Honestly, i think the sleep walking and running away scared its the most likely theory. I've slept walked out of my house before, taking my toothbrush and face wash without knowing! Loving these videos, i dont want this week to end :(
Nope but other people shouldn’t be talking abt how to parent, especially bc they are probably still to this day upset about her death, so they shouldn’t blame the parents
Joey E apart from letting your kids have social lives, parents taking away tv or internet isn’t bad. Running away because you lost internet for a day? Sheesh.
Maybe someone had been watching her and told her to meet them somewhere for something. There are cases of pedophiles grooming kids by stalking them at school and such, building relationships with them so the kids trust them. If she wasn't sleepwalking and did indeed leave of her own free will, I think she was eventually abducted. Her backpack was found in a super suspicious way. Also, maybe she knew the person driving the green car or maybe she was just so tired of walking she trusted them to give her a ride.
I’ve been a teenager and literally slept walked and actually got on the street, luckily my mum realised came out found me. ❤sad to hear they didn’t call help immediately x
this story kind of gets me upset because her parents did everything and limited everything so that they would never get hurt, taken, sexually abused, anything, and this happened they did everything they could to prevent this and now they probably would limit any other kids of theirs (if they had any more), even worse because their method didn’t work the first time.
Do one about Mr Cruel!!! He was a serial killer in Australia back in the 80s and he has never been caught since then because he doesnr leave any forensic evidence
Jaime Lee yes omg its so creepy.... they have a 1.2 million dollar reward for the tip that leads to his arrest. Means he is hard to catch. I wonder if he’s still alive
I believe she was groomed by somebody close to the family at the time. A family friend, a neighbour, through the church, at school or somebody involved in sports she played. It's highly unlikely a shy 9 year old would leave home by herself in the early hours of the morning when It's still dark. God bless this family 🙏
I almost always follow people only for their mystery videos and then I fall in love with their personalities and watch their other videos I never seek those kind of videos out Bella and Georgia Marie are huge examples of that
Asha Degree and Relisha Rudd are the reasons why I got into true crime... Hearing their stories makes me so frustrated that they aren't solved. That being said, thank you for your coverage and fantastic video!
I believe that she was sleep walking. I think in her sleep walking state, she was getting ready for school. And maybe that is why she walked along the road that heads to her school... and when that truck driver talked to her, she woke up and got scared and ran away.
Natalie Mackey I was thinking the same. What a coincidence that she went into that shed that was the last of her. And her bag shows up a while later near that shed. I would have looked into the owner of the shed.
She could have potentially ran away from home, wanting to get away from controlling parents ect or a spur of the moment thing because she was just a kid and could have just wanted to go outside but wait theres more. While she was running away somebody could have seen a lost defenseless little girl, kidnapped her, and may even be held captive today.
Yma Vo I did also consider the same thing but i just cant wrap my head around getting dressed, packing a backpack, sneaking out a window, and walking down the highway without sleep walking. I think a more realistic theory would be maybe she was coaxed outside some way.
