What would you've done if you had Mansa Musa's money?

My problem with the modern guys is most of their riches are stocks while Mansa Musa's wealth is solid gold and salt

He inherited his money and kingdom from his father, who was an amazing, forward-thinking man, would love to hear more about that man.

In fact, following his Hadj, stories of Mali's and West African wealth were what pushed the Portuguese to sail into unknown territory along its coastline (much more than a motivation to find a direct market to India's spice markets)

When I was young I thought of Timbuktu to be a very far away land. I would love to visit Timbuktu.

The sad part about it when I last when back home (Mali) I was saddened to this day of all the resources we still have including gold and yet with corruption, my country suffers big now with poverty.
