You know a lot of these so called medieval test of character or torture techniques really didn't make a lot of sense. Especially now and I can only imagine back then either.
They make perfect sense. The outcome is certain death. As one witch-finder participating in a slaughter was quoted to say, “Kill them all, God will know His own.”
@@VogtTD With all due respect, there is Truth- it is called Grace. And once you experience it, you will be able to see through the deception... any ones deception. But if you call ME a liar after reading this reply, let me remind you that you do not even know who I am. This is all. Peace to you in Christ.
1) The Inquisition came from people (Christians) who sincerely thought that their god was the one true God, above all other gods, and because they worshipped the one true God, they were somehow doing god's work. "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live." 2) This is no different then Christians landing on the shores of America and because god lead them to America, they had the right to take the land, convert the indigenous indians by force (if need be) for their own good (in order to save them), which led to a massacre of 3.4 million American Indians. 3) Let's not forget about the Salem Witch trials; whereby, thirty-seven innocent people were murdered. 4) You are correct, it is not the fault of Jesus. It's the fault of 2.6 billion Christians who think it's their duty to degrade and humiliate other religions, by calling them devil worshippers and saying that their gods are Satan. 5) Those other religions that you people degrade, feel just as strong towards their god, as you do yours; but, heaven forbid if someone judges your religion, and then, you people cry like babies and claim you're being persecuted.
@@jackalsgate1146 "You people?" Please don't lump me in with the legalists! I never degenerated anybody. I don't have a religion. I am against religiosity. I have a Path. Judge me all you want. It's not on me. If you want to listen to the whole quote that I am quoting, listen to "Bill Cooper tells the TRUTH about Christ & the Church." It is still on here. Bill Cooper was a drunk and a wife ab*ser, but he is right on this account.
@@VogtTD No no there is some truth to this if you think about it. Jesus was according to lore a repressed jewish hippy boy that has nothing to do with the decadent christianity of today...If "those people" are christians...why not.
Oh the things we humans do when we are afraid of unexplained or manipulated into doing for safety and a sense of normality. It can certainly weight on us like rocks.
There is a school of thought that “innocent until proven guilty” stems from the fallout of the witch-hunting and Inquisition. After the frenzy died down society took a good look and said “Boy, that escalated quickly. I mean that really got out of hand fast!”
Witches got tired of men torturing them so the witches got revenge on men and started torturing men by making them get married and for how ever long men will be tortured day and night now that is torture lol 😆. Seriously cool video
