Because outside of the big Westcoast and Northern cities, like the South and Midwest, there was still a huge market for classic/blues/southern rock until the very early 2000's. Not everybody wanted to hear depressing shit.
There's nobody like The Black Crowes. They are one of the best rock and roll bands ever. Warms my heart that Chris and Rich have made amends. Rock on Robinsons.❤️🎸🎶
Yes they should be, but you have to put all the hip hopers and trash first then maybe their is room for true rock and roll. This is a real thorn in my buttocks.
Dianne....I agree. First. They meet all the qualifications. 2nd they are one freaking kiss ass band, write their own songs, great performers, full package. We can only want and 🙏 pray.

These guys, along with the Georgia Satellites and GNR, restored my faith in rock and roil just as it seemed that hair bands and synth pop was gonna destroy it. Thank you fellas.
Saw the Crowes last night at Brixton Academy & they were phenomenal… this song got a huge roar of appreciation from the audience… it is an absolute classic!

This band reminds me of my childhood. My parents danced in the living room to the Crowes. My mom especially loved them. She’s been gone 5 years now but she’s still here to me when I hear them. 😄
What I remember is, it was the early '90s, and NOBODY was doing good, solid, all-out rock 'n' roll. Then the Black Crowes came along, and it was like, "Oh, yeah, there IS music out there aside from Wilson Phillips and Michael Bolton! Hell, yeah!" 😆
So glad to see these guys on stage touring again. Huge breath of fresh air compared to some of the stuff that is out there now days. Real music, played by real musicians, that makes real sense

Musically they are absolutely awesome !! But Chris Robinson's singing is one of the best in Rock n Roll music for my taste...In a live situation, he sometimes over-sings (not always). When recording, he knows to scale back to the perfect drawl and he adds the swagger and soulful, southern drawl but doesn't over-do it. What a great band !!
These guys are from my hometown in Marrietta Georgia and this album was released in 1990, my Junior year in high school, it doesn't seem like it's been 32 years... Time flies, enjoy it while it lasts friends...
Chris and Rich were amazing on the Howard Stern Show today. I listened to Chris on the Stern show 2 years again where he vowed to never talk to his brother Rich again, and here they were together today. Amazing.
No doubt!!.....there is only one Chris Robinson!!....no matter what's been said about him over the years......There's nobody like him...no one who can emulate him!!.....What a talent!!

I think a lot of us never realize a bands greatness until years later when we think "What ever happened to them " Hope to see them for the first time ever Oct 28 23 millwauee wi. Thinking back it's a shame I never took the time to see them when they were close by and working so hard to be what I know they are now, . A one of a kind misfit band that copied no one. Takes a long time to dig your way into the hearts and soul of people. I'm just wondering now if this is the greatest band of my lifetime. Thier music just gets better with time 😊
This song has a bit of everything. Authentic blue grass guitar scale, southern rock piano, gain up enough to give it a faint grunge sound and a hint of country rhythm. Just a great rock song!!
I love the Black Crowes and Jealous Again is my favourite tune by them. The vocals and musicians are phenomenal and tight. I just introduced my 80 year old father to them and he would love to hear more of their music.
That last 45 seconds for the outro, is one of the best I have ever heard in rock. For me, even hearing it new back then at bars, hanging out partying with friends, whenever it gave me a feeling of instant nostalgia and Still does every time all these years later.
I remember the first time I heard this tune, in college in 1990 on a jukebox at the local pub. It really caught my attention. Especially the guitar outro. Suffice to say, 34 years and dozens of live shows later, the Crowes remain one of my 10 fave bands of all time
Actually it was Guns N Roses that fired that sparkle originally but Black Crowes just took it to the whole new level, and it suddenly became a mainstream thing to play blues again, thankfully. It marked the ending of the era of all things lame that way too many hairbands were all about and it brought back the depth and soul to the music. And WAY better sounds!
I SAW THE BLACK CROWS AND ZZ TOP BACK IN 91 ITS THE ONLY CONCERT THAT MY FATHER AND I EVER ATTENDED IT WAS THE CROWS FIRST ALBUM AND ZZ TOP'S RECYCLER TOUR TRULY AN AWESOME SHOW!!!
This song is a serious jam, and I continue to play it. I sang in a band years ago, I love all classic rock and roll groups. I love all kinds of music, but classic Rock is my favorite.
Wish they still made music like this!! As a kid I remember singing all their songs. "Talks to angles" one of my favorites. Little did i know its about but still loved the sound.
@@udowannun7780 I'm not denying that there aren't rock bands anymore, but what I am saying, is we don't have any rock bands that are mainstream, that are actually playing rock and roll. Greta van fleet was playing rock and roll, but now they're wannabe hippies and it's all flower power shit. There's no rock bands playing rock and roll. We need bands like this, because back in the 90s, everyone was grunge, and distortion singing about pathetic they are. The Black Crowes decided to be an old fashioned, blues based rock and roll band.
Life is changing and so is music , acorse there gonna be people influence by them & stuff but I think that what makes things exciting Like the band Palaye Royale inspired by them also tøp
@@RaurXDberry Unfortunately, yes life is changing. We'll probably never see another band that plays rock n roll the way AC/DC or Kiss or the Stones did. That age of blues based hard rock is gone. Some people are playing it. But blues based hard rock will never triumph the world ever again. And that's truly sad.

after coming out the 80s listening to metal/hard rock it was nice to relax again with a band like the black crowes, especially with the dark twist of grunge on the radio.....
One of the most underrated bands ever!! Everyone remembers & raves about Pearl Jam and Nirvana from the 90’s and did rate them. But they all seemed a little too serious about themselves and to me they just weren’t on the same level as the Crows. The Crows just had so many great tracks you could bop around to. Just a great old timey rock n roll band. I’m going on a road trip tomorrow and I’ll be playing they’re greatest hits all day. 👍🏻
