This album was sooooo fuckin sick. I've only given it two listens and I already like it a lot more than Abysmal, the speed is more under control and the songwriting is better, especially the leads.

Absolutely, fucking amazing, brutal album. My first Black Dahlia Murder album btw, my first time commenting (outside of my own video's). It's been playing in the truck stereo since it was purchased. Now I just gotta go do that whole "buy all their albums to hear what I missed" thing. Already picked up Nocturnal on vinyl at my local f.y.e. :)

Can anybody explain the paragraph in the last song that starts after "anoitment" ? I just deleted the album after reading the lyrics and it sounds like track #5 on cannibal corpses tomb of the mutilated. Another album I wont ever listen to because of that sick shit. Shit that shouldn't even be used as material in music. You my as well be the person.

I think he's referring to the ups and downs that add to the suspense and drama of music. Think Tool. But you don't really listen to TBDM for such things. You listen to it for the blistering riffs and beautiful melodies that are their trademark.

yeah I'm waiting on the physical copy to show up in the mail. Maybe I wasn't streaming at full quality due to my connection, or something weird, because even here on RU-vid it sounds better than when I listened to it on the way home in my car which has some a nice Bose system in it.
