What really upsets me is Trevor is a good looking dude. I can’t believe how mean people can be, even to a legend like Trevor that ultimately played a huge role in his suicide. Love that they didn't just do the obvious and cover something from slaughter. However much I like Trevor's vocals this cover also reminds me how much I love the vocals of early to mid nineties Tompa. The dispair, disgust and anger caught in that man's voice is just unmatched. Even by tompa himself, all these years later. Great cover though

Trevor came out to collect some gear after a show in Poughkeepsie, NY (after Deflorate came out). I have never seen someone so genuinely happy to be meeting a bunch of scraggly 20 somethings with nothing important to say. I didn't know what to say at all, I wasn't expecting him to be so friendly and engage us - I just blurted out "I like your new guitarist", and he thought that was funny. Which it was I suppose since Ryan had probably already left the building. Anyway...he was a warm, kind soul.

So badass!! Gonna miss Trevor man, talked to that dude quite a few different times before seeing Black Dahlia play. Always kind, down to earth, and his brain was like a metal encyclopedia. This song brings back memories of middle school. Got the chance to see At The Gates already, but in August I will be seeing them play Slaughter of the Soul in it's entirety. That album came out when I was in 9th grade, changed my life. So many great bands I grew up with, just feel lucky I got to see alot of them before members had passed away or bands broke up. Dunno if TBDM will ever be the same without Trevor, but I'm glad I got to see them and chill with those guys at different venues.

All my old school buddies used to tell me that black dhalia ripped their style off from at the gates…. And me loving both of them……… then obviously being obsessed with revocation since dismantle dictators came out…. This means a lot to me
