I’ve been wondering how I’d flip that if I was scru, I think he could actually fit it in with his culture vulture angle against Knox if he said something like Lincoln freed the slaves and that’s why booth assassinated him, make some sort of bar out of that? It’s a fire line, but I feel like it’s easy to use against Knox in this kind of battle because he happens to be white, so racism and vulturing is part of scru’s angle to attack him.

That’s the problem with gun bars in diss tracks, even if you don’t mean them it means everything is on the table. He thought he was just gonna have a lyrical battle with Knox and Knox slapped him in the face with that first response, ever since then both sides have been wrestling in the mud. Not sure who has been more reliable at this point since it looks like both sides were capping and lying. I knew Scru would be capping from the beginning because he has been doing that forever, but I was surprised that Knox would use such a terrible edit for that first song to make scru look artificially worse when he walked back the boxing stuff. It took a little steam out of his credibility.
