I saw them in Lexington KY a week before this show I believe. I'm a huge Journey fan and Steve Perry fan. This was the best I've heard replicating the band with Perry. Also saw the Black Jacket Symphony do Pink Floyd over a year ago. Amazing musicians and vocalists!
Just saw BJS at the Crest in Sacramento - they are AWESOME!! Have seen then perform Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac & Led Zeppelin. Amazing musicians & vocalists!! If you get a chance to see their show you won't be disappointed! They ROCK!!
I attended the Pink Floyd & Fleetwood Mac shows myself and they were simply amazing. I wanted to see the Eagles "Hotel California" but health issues got in the way.
Saw this show last Saturday night at Hoyt Sherman Place in Des Moines. I am a huge Journey fan having seen the band perform at least 20 times including 4 back in their hey day in 80, 81 and 83 with Steve Perry. Did no advance research; no google , no nothing. I don't really do cover bands but they were covering Escape (I played the grooves off that one) front to back so pulled the trigger on the tickets. I did not know what to expect and of course anyone trying to sing like Steve Perry is either crazy, fearless or both. I was blown away from start to finish! What a blast!! AMAZING show and everything was well done with attention to every detail right down to the lights matching the color of the Escape album itself at different times, yes I noticed. Dollar for dollar best bang for your concert buck. Quality musicians all and I freaking swear Ryan Christopher IS Steve Perry. Look out Arnel if Neil Schon ever finds this guy.
Ryan is the best ! He was in Resurrection,a Journey cover band and was incredible with them. He even wore the Perry wig and clothing.... you'd swear he was on stage. Back surgery sidelined him and the band moved on,unfortunate for them....
