12:18 yeh the engine holds 12 heat sinks , so you're looking at 27 spaces needed for star league/inner sphere doubles ......... I dunno should think it'd fit what with no XL , no endo or Ferro and the energy weapons dont take heaps of room either , at work so haven't got record sheet handy but you'd think should squeeze doubles in but maybe can't ?

Fantastic custom versions btw love the hatchet cough cough sword and shield combo . The shield is criminally underutilized . I'd have given it an ER PPC rather than the large pulse ........ More range and more heat to get that TSM hot

Thanks very much. I do see the value in the ER PPC but I really wanted the reduction in the difficulty to hit as I designed it to be running all the time. I know that the ER PPC would get a reduction at range because of the better range brackets, but the pulse lasers even get a reduction at point blank range. That said, ER PPCs are always a good option, especially the clan tech ones.

18:50 I dunno if I've ever used a targeting computer to aim at a specific part , not even with my beloved Supernova 4 (4 large pulse plus targeting computer) the +4 just seems flat out worse than the -1 for normal . For the same reason I just let my inevitable hatchets I'm taking land anywhere vs the punch table . That's person preference though

I have used Targeting computers to get crits in spots that I'd already stripped of armor, but only if the modifiers weren't terrible. The highest I'll go is a 9+ to hit with multiple weapons.

2nd opinion seems like a bracket firer , but I dunno if you want to be bracket firing energy weapons

You usually do have to cycle different weapons at different ranges with most variants.

@@TheBoardGameKaptain but its energy , just not enough variation in range , damage and heat to my mind . Like once the mediums are in range you're not going to use 17 tons of PPC and large lasers ........ Seems a waste to me

I don't know if I'm a fan of the Black Knight , the heat management looks appalling at first glance . Probably would be different if I owned one , but I got most of that ComStar level II in blind salvage boxes twice just missed a Black Knight .

Some variants are really bad with heat management, some variants are positively deadly.

Yeh not sold just too many bad design choices besides the armour which is fine . Like you're having to go 3/5 on Dark Age variants to 'fix' them which is just unacceptable on a 75 tonner ......... Hard pass get an Awesome or Sphinx instead
