Sunday 16th September 2018 and the Black Watch 3 SCOTS are partaking in a homecoming parade through the ancient city of Perth, Scotland. This is the tune "The Atholl Highlanders" mixed with "The Glendaruel Highlanders"
My uncles served with Gordon Highlanders. But i was lucky enough to meet a few lads from the watch earlier this year at Fort George. Their piping is always on point. They are so well disciplined.
Great work by The Watch P&D's. Thank you for playing, 'The Glendaruel Highlanders,' regimental march of the now defunct, 'Liverpool Scottish.' Fantastic, UP THE JOCKS!
Awesome video of the 42nd. Royal Highlander Regiment. Love the traditional bagpipes. Truly a world renowned fighting unit. The brave lads of the famed Black Watch.
I am deeply grateful to the person who filmed this performance. Very good sound reproduction. Need I say The Black Watch also performed flawlessly? Thank you very much. This video is inspiring on all counts.
I'm a bagpiper and I'm know this tune but your team is amazing this tune is so good I'm always looking your video that's oll very nice and good I'm from india ❤️
I’m not sure it gets much better than that- awesome piping and drumming not to mention great drill. Well done to those men and thanks for filming - I’m off to practice for the second time today; my current aim is to end up half that good!
I am so glad I made the effort to see the Dunfermline parade last Saturday and the Perth parade on the Sunday - the Perth parade was twice the distance so many more songs!
Only found out recently my great grandfather was in the Cameron highlanders so I often wondered why I was drawn to the pipes so much and joined the Scots Guards.
@@HimanshuSingh-xk9od I don't know the story behind that particular mascot but a lot of regiments have mascots guards regiments I think apart from the Irish guards who have a huge wolfhound generally don't have them.
At beginning of video can anyone identify that large building with the round roof? I think i've seen another Bagpipe video filmed at this same Perth location(?) Ta!! 🙂
@@sharonmullins1957 ? Don't run too much..but know this..Labour gave the Soviets the Rolls Royce engine that enabled the MIG 15 to kill 100 British pilots in the Korean War.

The 42nd (Royal Highland) Regiment of Foot was a Scottish infantry regiment in the British Army also known as the Black Watch. Originally titled Crawford's Highlanders or the Highland Regiment and numbered 43rd in the line, in 1748, on the disbanding of Oglethorpe's Regiment of Foot, they were renumbered 42nd and in 1751 formally titled the 42nd (Highland) Regiment of Foot. The 42nd Regiment was one of the first three Highland Regiments to fight in North America.[1][2] In 1881 the regiment was named The Royal Highland Regiment (The Black Watch), being officially redesignated The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) in 1931. In 2006 the Black Watch became part of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.
The Jacobites were a boil on the arse of British society. They used the sympathies and ultimately the lives of Scotsmen to further their purpose of putting a Stewart back on the British throne. Bonnie prince Charlie was a Twat
