The Reclamations comprise of the Daedric Princes Azura, Mephala, and Boethiah. These 3 are the god-ancestors of the Chimer who were once part of the Aldmer race in the Summerset Isles, but left to form their own homeland in Morrowind. The worship of these 3 daedra diminished when the Chimera turned into the Dunmer and were replaced by the Tribunal consisting of Vivec, Sotha Sil, and Almalexia as the Anticipations of their god-ancestors. However, at the end of the 3rd Era, the Tribunal diminished and most of Morrowind was left in ruins because of the Oblivion crisis and the eruption of Red Mountain. With the majority of the Dunmer people feeling lost because of recent history, they may have to return to their old ways in order to have their faith restored.
CHARACTER BACKGROUND
Assantus Rolan had spent most of his life either on the run or captured. The Argonians who had been raiding all over the southern lands of Morrowind held him captive as a prisoner, but at times Assantus would manage to escape only to be captured once again followed by torture. One day while being tortured he let out a huge fiery explosion wiping out all in the Argonian camp. When he woke up, he ended up with a Ashlander tribe who witnessed the explosion. The tribe saw what he did to the Argonian camp and understood that his desire to live in the face of death is what caused him to unleash the fiery explosion. From then on, the Ashlanders educated him about the Reclamations, the Daedra Princes Azura, Mephala, and Boethiah who were the god-ancestors of the Chimer who later became the Dunmer. In their teachings, Assantus learned that life is nothing but a test and it emboldens against their strife. After spending many months with the tribe, Assantus learned more about his people as well as their current situation across Tamriel were the majority have been struggling and living their lives without any faith in the Good Daedra. The Ashlanders have asked him to help those struggling and in doing so remind them of who they are in order to restore their faith with the Reclamations starting in Skyrim.
