Thanks so much! I couldn't agree more with regards to how wrong - and lazy, to be frank - it is to take the biological route at this juncture. Not only is it disrespectful to all that James and Megan have contributed from a performance/interpretation standpoint, but also it's insulting to fans who have followed the show from day one. From the onset, the answer to the question of whether Red is Lizzie's father has been "No.", and as fans we didn't manufacture that truth. The episode content speaks for itself. Complimenting that is confirmation in that regard from Megan and multiple producers (including Bokenkamp) on a plethora of occasions. While I more than appreciate Susan's work in the back half of season 4 (I'd go so far as to say that she deserves all of the accolades possible.), tainting that is yet another installment of retconpalooza. Season 1 firmly outlined that while Red does what he has to depending on what the circumstances are (In truth, who wouldn't?), he doesn't lie to Lizzie. Period. The same applies to Dembe who along with Isabella and Elle comprise his true family. But I digress. In the process of developing that outline, it was clearly established that it was Red who saved Lizzie the night of the fire, and he - not Katarina - delivered her to Sam. "I've been friends with Sam for all of yours and most of my life." I include the preceding line of dialogue because what's presented to us now with regards to Kate's tie to Lizzie and her mother makes ZERO sense. It contradicts all that was established as a form of foundation from the first year and negates Red's credibility. Season 2 further cemented their relationship not being a biological one. Let's take 2x10 for starters. We see a man - not a woman - extricate Lizzie from the flames. As for the identity of that person, take note of the hand reaching into the closet, passing her the live bunny. Need I say more? (LOL) Not to mention, Luther referred to Lizzie as "your girlfriend, the princess". It's significant as he and Red had been acquainted for decades, and their knowledge of one another was quite extensive. In 2x22, we see Lizzie as a four year old child shoot her father and protect her mother only to be left behind. Compare the man seen in that particular sequence and couple that with the aforementioned example in 2x10 and Katarina's own words from 3x19: "It's not that he died. It's not even the way he died. It's in the things I said to him just before he died." Lizzie's father dying that night wasn't at all metaphorical. Someone did die, and clearly that man and Red aren't one and the same. For example, take the "Swan Lake" sequence from 1x16. That was an event he organized every year in order to remember and essentially hang onto the memory of Jennifer, his daughter. Why haven't we seen that? SMH. It's damn frustrating being a fan nowadays, an experience that for me is further complicated by being censored on this platform (intentionally so, I might add). Two videos blocked inside of a month?! Please! Hugs and love.

You are so welcome hon!I am so sorry and saddened to hear about the type of response and ridicule you have received from these people.I am not surprise in the least though,this is expected when you speak the truth and the truth tends to eat away at the conscience.I admire and respect the tremendous amount of time and effort you put into your amazing and brilliantly created videos.You didn't do anything wrong or half way, you made damn sure you left no stones unturned by the very through research you put in,highlighting the incompetence of the show runners and there lack of insight.Did they think the viewers especially the die hard fans could ever forget the incredible chemistry and dynamics between Red and Liz from the inception of the show?!The moment Liz walked down those stairs at the post office,Raymond Reddington was smitten,and so was Liz.There was nothing fatherly about the way Red looked at Liz and vice versa,to this day it remains the same.I am tired of show runners using these types of tactics to boost ratings,I do not think it is necessary with the Blacklist,the show is amazing and can stand on it's own without the theatrics, the only reason they will kill it is if they continue on the train wreck it is on pertaining to Liz and Red's,they need to get back to the original dynamics between the main characters immediately because I can tell you right now that a lot of viewers are disgusted and tired of the way they are using these scenarios to keep them watching,going down the father/daughter road for many is the last straw and total disaster,a lot of viewers made it clear that they are either going to stop watching the show,has stopped already, even the fanfiction writers, some of them are ready to quit shipping Liz and Red because they are so disappointed in the direction the show has taken.Shipping the characters is very important to a show's success and the time span of its reign,if the show runners don't be careful,this show will have a sudden death.I hope you continue to share your incredible talent with us Monique,but if you decide not to continue,I will understand and so many other who enjoy your wonderful work.In any event the the truth will live on, because keep in mind that the majority of people who are the 'Haters' are bandwagoners,hardly watch the show,most of them usually just take second hand information and run with it, having absolutely no knowledge of what really is going on,The blacklist is not the kind of show to skip episodes or you will find yourself in limbo as to where it is heading to.I said before and I will say it again,The Blacklist thrive on the unexpected,twist and turns,so you just go with it and hope that the show runners don't sink the Lizzington ship prematurely,I make absolutely no apologies for what I say when it comes to Liz and Red's characters,they were meant to be in my opinion,I know they would make a fantastic couple,and all the people who is harping about the age difference between them,utter bullshit!I say age is just a number,love, trust,respect is all that matters and Raymond Reddington has proven beyond a doubt that he is all the above and so much more he never lied to Liz as he told her from the beginning,if he withheld information from her it was ALWAYS because it was about her safety . what are they going to do next? put Liz to kill Red or vice versa?! Thank you so, so much! I couldn't agree more with your assessments, in particular your point regarding the haters. As with any artistic endeavor, detraction is very much something to expect as simply put pleasing everyone is impossible. But given these set of circumstances it's frustrating as again we're talking about a television show. The discussions should be fun, and by extension all perspectives should be respected. But the exact opposite applies as instead of receptiveness and actual value as far as conversation one is vilified for contrasting views. That TPTB openly celebrate these people and mock us makes it all worse. Moving forward, it truly sucks to reach the point where what you love - its celebration - yields more frustration than joy. But hey, it is what it is. Let's just say that whether I continue vidding for the show or not is a decision that I'm constantly revisiting - again because despite laziness and the disrespect exhibited by the showrunners, it's the work especially from James and Hisham that I'd rather give attention to. As for the paternal garbage, I'll pose the following question: If that was the original endgame, why hire James for that type of role??? Yes, the man is versatile. In my opinion, he can do no wrong and in fact he elevates every project he opts to participate in which is one quality among many that explains why he is so well-respected. His interpretation of the character from a performance standpoint isn't at all that of a father. Take his reaction to seeing Lizzie in 3x01 with her new blonde hair style, for example. Need I say more? (LOL) There are a plethora of other examples as we both know, but in either case all of which says that we (meaning those who advocate for Lizzington) didn't manufacture anything, and we certainly aren't looking through a tainted prism. There's a difference between observation and expectation, evidence (the tangible) versus aspiration. On many fronts, all we can do is wait and see what happens.

Well said hon!The show needs intelligent minds like yours.Like I said before,inspiration has to come from somewhere,all the fanfiction writers,along with the 99.99% of viewers do not see a father/daughter relationship between Liz and Red.I am happy to note that the majority of viewers refused to look through rose color glasses or become bandwagoners in honor and having the upmost respect for Ms. Boone and Mr. Spader.I hope the show runners acknowledged this and correct the horrendous mistakes they made and in my opinion is still making.Like you said,all we can do is wait and see how it all plays out.I was asked recently what I thought about everything that has happened pertaining to Liz and Red's characters on a different site,I replied with one word,'Twisted' It's more than that of course, disrespectful and disgusting is what comes to mind first and foremost.Thanks a million again Monique for keeping it real,I am especially impress with you for standing up for what you believe IN . I wouldn't worry about speculation that s3 will be the last. With respect to the ratings decline, the DVR stats are maintaining as far as I know. The smart move, going forward, would be returning "The Blacklist" to its Monday slot which would enable the show to flourish again. No show in my opinion is more deserving of a long run.
