Immediately had to comment after watching Brad Mondo's react video because I was on a roller coaster of emotions. I absolutely love your final color! In my opinion, this isn't a fail but a redemption!
GIRL, that WAS a ride. You took what could have been a bleach trash fire, we’ve all been there, and turned it into something GORGEOUS. You did it all on your own, too! As someone who bleaches their dark brown hair to dye it vibrant colours, I am a big fan of the olaplex line. As this video is a year old to keep my hair from breaking off. I’m sure you have figured out your own tricks by now. 😘
You literally saved your hair’s life, by the end of the video your hair looks actually pretty healthy! As someone who also has damaged hair, I have to know what hair care products and your hair routine that you used to salvage your hair!
girl that was a JOURNEY but i’m glad u got there in the end hahaha 😹 it’s nice to see that you’re happy w the end result bc ur hair looks beautiful!! the pink suits u so much
Here because of Brad's video. Your hair looks so nice! It had to be hard to lose those years of growth, but this is a fantastic look on you and you managed to turn it into something that we can all share a laugh at down the road!
Came here from Brad Mondo's reaction. I love your warm pink. I was devastated when the hair had to go because your natural hair is so beautiful. The end result was gorgeous. Sending you love from South Africa 💗💗
I do not think you really damaged your hair that much. There was definitely some breakage at the back of your head, around the hairline, but that's "normal" since hair there is much finer and weaker. In my opinion, had you done the Aphogee treatment before cutting your hair, you could have probably saved more length...Anyway, you look great with the new haircut 😀
Oh girl. You MAY have been able to save it if you did a bonding treatment right after you rinsed the bleach. I wouldn't have even attempted to comb it, just soak it with the treatment. And use a semi permanent to tone it!
her long, dark locks were absolutely stunning. they just made her look so youthful and majestic. i don’t understand why people don’t just go get their hair professionally done if they want to do something drastic like this.
Ur name is Pablo, which means you’re a guy and most likely Latino. Latino men don’t usually go and color their hair so they don’t know much about it or how much it costs. Why are you even commenting ? And even if you knew EVERYTHING about hair, nobody asked what you think bro 🤦🏻♀️
@@Asbestoslover666 you could also get a job and save up to go to the salon so you don’t end up frying your hair off lol, just a suggestion. you’re the one who put it on the internet and then you get snarky when people ask a legitimate question.
@@69kat69 my name isn’t pablo lmfao, also, the comments section is open for discussion, no? one can argue no one cares what you think either, so why bother replying to me.
Hi, I just read your description paragraph. God knew you would be too powerful with waist length blonde hair!! That is the best line ever. I love it. I think the first toner grabbed too dark but oh well, you still did a phenomenal job and thats pretty cool. Be proud of yourself, its a fun video❤
Your still such a good sport about it.. your beautiful and you have a great personality.. You will be alright once the shock of everything settles down.
You hair is FIRE! Holy shit it looks awesome. I just found you through Brad Mondo’s channel. You are much braver than I could ever be. I color my hair all sorts of colors but I’m not brave enough to do the bleach at home. But you look fantastic!!
It always seems to start the same way. Dark hair, want to go platinum blonde, do it at home. Lol. My wife is a natural blonde and she struggles to keep it as light as she wants it to be.
This is so hard to see, but you can recover your hair lenght and texture, trim each 3 months, and trim regularity split ends, (and this technique dont make lost the lenght, twisth the strand) use hialuronic acid to improve hair porosity, and buy a satin cap and pillow case. Use hair products of your type of necesity like deep conditiong mask and conditioner for damaged and coloured hair, use aphogee and olaplex. I expect that tips improve your hair, blessings :3.
This video just like..i was just so sad lol get k 18! 22:28 I'm glad you had a really great outcome. So im sure you'll do this again, next time avoid your pre lightened hair and one inch from the root. When you are doing your whole head start from the bottom with a lower developer 15 then 20 then 25 then 30 on the top or rinse in between because starting the timer after its all applied doesnt mean the bottom was waiting. Also you were already close to a lighter level, i would do open air no foils. You were using 30 developer and foil that was really maxing it there. No one is fast enough on their own head to get it to process all the same really. It's a lot but lol thats why i went to school and got licensed I would step into a salon girl its less stressful and you will feel good getting pampered. I was like nooo she did it again 😢
Your hair is so beautiful and healthy, if you don't want to go to a salon go to a beauty school and get your hair dyed under a student in the salon under an instructor. The students in the salon part are close to graduation, their under instructions with their instructor and it cost peanuts compared to a hairstylist who has their licenses already. You will be amazed how that student hairstylist does your hair because they really take time and they are starting out just like every other stylish started out before they obtained their license.. As dark as you were it at times may take a few applications before you obtain that pale yellow but this is why you do a test strip to see how far your hair will lift. You may have to come back for a few sessions to achieve what your looking for especially if you want to keep a healthy head of hair..
everyones hair is different some hair can handle many rounds of bleach some can only do it once and lose alot from breakage. i will say to all make sure you shampoo twice or 3 times before thinking your hair is really dry as it does smooth down after a few washes. its ok! on the other hand. don't pull if you see losing hairs. put a treatment on and leave it overnight then washing again with a shampoo again condition and follow this for afew days. it will improve alot
@7:17 I guess you could have stopped here an saved it and maybe waited a few weeks an added treatments. The end END result was still beautiful😀. Came here from Brads channel
Amazing result (given the circumstances), even prior to the pink. I don't know what sorcery you possess, but it wasn't in your hair, and I hope you choose to use your powers for good and not evil.
Basically when you apply heat to any colour processing, what your actually doing is halving the processing time. So if you apply heat for say 15 mins it’s like leaving the colour on for 30 mins and when the hair is also wrapped in foil, this will trap the heat inside which also speeds processing times up and Foils get warm without adding heat. I felt your pain, watching you pulling the hair out I was horrified 😮….. the only thing that sorts chewing gum hair out is a pair of scissors ✂️ However the rest of your hair would still be very dry and over processed until it grows out. If anyone wants a recommendation on a cheap product that can “help” to restore some moisture in your hair try something called henna wax, not henna the colour, it’s a conditioner…… wash your hair then towel dry it, smother this conditioner on your hair and put a plastic cap over it whilst your in the bath or shower. Leave it on for as long as you like, heat helps (With a cap on) rinse it off then before you even comb your hair put some serum through it. Then rough dry your hair and apply serum again once it’s dry, Dont apply too much on the roots but through the lengths and ends….I use Paul Mitchell super skinny serum….. do this every time you wash your hair, it’s not a miracle cure but over time you will find your hair getting softer…… P.S I’m a hairdresser with well over 30 years experience 👍
The difference was the heatttt most likely. The heat opens the hair follicles and let's the bleach penetrate deeper... especially in already bleached and dyed hair...that can definitely cause some damage 😞
aphogee 2 step protein mask! you can buy a one-use pack for $5 at sally's. It's great for damaged hair that needs protein! it like actually repairs some bonds- a saving grace! dont use it on healthy hair though cause that could be too much protein
@@Asbestoslover666 thanks for your answer, that is very sweet ! Unfortunately, I live in France, so it might be difficult to find them, but I will have a look ;-)
Came from Brad Mondo's react video I was about to cry also you are crazy also you hair was gorgeous even if this is the last thing you wanna hear 🥲 What were you thinking ?
I think it looks good but with hair as dark as yours and going as light you are going to damage it some I know my hair is very dark and I have it silver and it is damage I'm just very gentle with it and only use hair dyer if I have to and use heat protection spray and a lot of condition
idk man, 2021 was a weird time. in 2020 i shaved my eyebrows to kill time so I guess the pandemic wasn't my beauty queen era. But I'm back to serving cunt so it's all good- order has been restored
honestly the long hair was a sensory hell for me so it was a blessing in disguise to cut my hair short aha. I actually decided to keep it extra short ever since
I saw your Brad video. Just wanted to say you are so stunning! your blonde looks great on you short or long,- fits your beautiful face! im jealous your skin. maybe its the bisexual in me, lol.
@@69kat69 Well, Iike the old saying goes if you don’t learn from your mistakes you are doomed to repeat them. I would of saved up for it and went to a pro. No license… NOWAY
I didn't realize it'd come out so brown lol I was just trying to tone it so it wouldn't look so bad in public. if I were to do it again (definitely won't be lol) I would use a much lighter shade of toner, maybe a 10a
Wym just five years ? Either mine and her hair grow really fast or ur hair grows really slow tbh because I cut my hair like jb style about 4 years ago and my hair now is on my hips, after cutting like half an inch off every maybe, 3-4 months
