Excellent teaching Dr Jones. Tithing has always been a tough discussion in the church and when Covid hit everything was exposed. Since finding your channel and your Thursday night zoom Bible class I can actually feel growth in my understanding of the scriptures. My study time has increased. I do this not just to be prepared to speak but I need understanding of scriptures for my life and for my home.I must admit sometimes I’m embarrassed because of my lack of education however my embarrassment has caused me to want to learn more about the God who saved me. Yes. I had a dream where God saved me from a drowning, a storm, a crash ship. I found myself saved, thanking God for saving me. He asked if I was alright. I replied, “Yes Lord” he said “Go back down and pull another one up” I thought He had saved me but He saved me to be a help to others! I’ve been serving Him since. 😊

Great Teaching ... I believe it was stones, because of the s on pillows ... there can't be 1 stone and plural pillows looking at it logically ... you are correct about the Tithe... Abraham tithe to Melchizedek 400 years before the law of tithing... Thank you for bringing all that out ... concerning the blessing and promise to Abraham through Isaac I believe God covered Spiritual and Natural (the whole man) ... in all and all I enjoy your teaching

Pastor Jones, first of all Happy Birthday, second, who will God hold accountable if we our tithes and offering but it may not go to the others it goes into the church running. Such as light bill or some other bill.

Blessings to you and thank you for the great question. Once the person give the law they’re tied in offering it is now out of their hands. The next person is those who receives it, and what they do with it God knows the heart of those who are given ties and offering he will bless your efforts.

Pastor who told Abraham to give a tenth. Did God tell him or did he decide to do this on his own. I'm saying this because specific numbers are used through the bible all the time. The number 3, 40, 7 for example. When the new covenant was put in place, l'm pretty sure it covered everything that God put in place intended for past and future.

Was it a stone or stones. PTL Pastor, Dr. Rodney Jones. I would say that it was A stone because in vs. 11 it says that Jacob took OF THE stones. Meaning out of the stones that was there, he took one. What say you?

Question Pastor, why did God permit the blessing go Jacob, instead of going to Esau that it should have went to Esau. Just a thought. God bless you. Enjoyed the lesson.

Blessings and great question, God intended it to go to Jacob and not Esau, the custom was the oldest received double portion, but God shows that He is God
